  1. Hey MEB, I am sending out Designer files more often these days, Where are we at with the "package" or collect for output feature? Thanks, Retro
  2. Cheers guys, will give this a test drive. Beta 3 came and went so fast I missed it... :-)
  3. Whoa, that is intense. So many strokes. Wow! Thanks for the share, it's always interesting to see how others work.
  4. Hi cdeeley, I look forward to checking out those brushes cheers! Btw, is the title of your post supposed to be "french fries"?
  5. I'd like to see something like this in vector as well, to be able to edit a component that is repeated in a pattern where the whole pattern updates realtime as the component is tweaked. Add a row, remove a row, scale, rotate etc... now that would be a power duplicate.
  6. This would be very welcomed Matt. Draw or Pixel persona. Been dreaming of this for years. ;-) FireAlpaca a free paint app has a numbered setup, the higher the number you choose the more smoothing (they call it correction) you get. It has a pretty interesting feature for symmetry workflows as well. http://firealpaca.com/en
  7. The hotspot for this to show up could be a bit bigger imho, it's sometimes tricky to come up. Works great though.
  8. In Blender pressing x, y or z will constrain to those axis. If there was a way to set up Designer to behave in a similar way with x and y that would do it, although using shift as described above usually does it for me. :-)
  9. Nice job David, but me thinks that cake is going to find the floor... ;-)
  10. Sure thing Matt. OS 10.9.4, 3.5 GHz Intel Core i7, 16 GB 1600 MHz DDR3, NVIDIA GeForce GTX 780M 4096 MB Let me know if you need anything else.
  11. I'm wondering why the change to a light grey background when in artboard setup compared to a single page? Why not just keep the same grey background. I'm finding the light grey a little jarring on the eyes. Is there a reason for different levels of grey between these 2 setups? If it's for differentiation, I think anytime there's more than one page in the document it would be obvious you're in artboard mode. Or can we have a tint slider to adjust the light grey?... I guess I'm wondering why there is a difference at all between the two. Why isn't the default just a single "artboard" with the option to add more if desired and an adjustable background (pasteboard) tint/colour...?
  12. I'm noticing some screen drag in the new beta compared to the 1.4 mas version on a single page setup and a 2 artboard setup. 1.4 is smooth compared to some jittery-ness of the 1.41-2 beta. Edit: I've also noticed when zooming in and out that the view wants to snap to "fit in window" or "actual size"...
  13. Clipping canvas feature is working nicely, cheers team!! This is gonna be nice.
  14. Nice work dmoney. Looks like a challenging game. I like the music as well and checked out incompetechs site. Fun stuff! What game engine did you use? Edit: I see on your site your using Unity.
  15. I was going to request this again, thought I'd do a search to see if anyone had already requested it and as it happens I did last May... doh! Would love to see this make it's way into the Affinity lineup as now that we are blessed with so many great brushes it's getting tricky to remember them and a custom, nameable panel would be da bomb. Anyone else think so?
  16. Any more development on this Matt? I think some sort of well thought out symmetry ability would be a good draw (no pun intended) to a lot of potential users. Is there anything similar in Ai now? I could have really used symmetry on a recent project, would have saved a ton of time flipping and joining...
  17. Yes I noticed a big disparity when going between Ai and AD as well. Just wondering if there is a way to adjust this?
  18. Nice, soft, classic airbrush feel to this. Interesting also in that you usually don't see this year of a Caddy being depicted.
  19. Hehe now we're talking. ;) I think it adds a bunch more personality to the piece. It's a bit more work, but I think it's worth it. Nice job!
  20. Pretty neat stuff. It's fun to tinker with the pixel brushes.
  21. Looking great Chris, better late than never as the saying goes. :) For the line work, have you considered adjusting the thickness with the line pressure feature. It adds a bunch of life and character to things quickly and easily, see attached... I guess it depends on the style you're after, but I would suggest playing with it.
  22. Hey Paolo, cheers for those new blenders, and brushes they are really nice!! I wasn't sure where to post this...
  23. Nice examples Mike. I can start to see where all of those layers are coming from. Thanks for showing us! Hopefully the team will get your issues resolved.
