    Those plugins only work on pixel layers which you have selected. If you have used the stock image panel, pixelate the image and use then your plugin. on windows, it looks like this;

    @Kal 1 Bit image support (png with 1 bit) is in, the preview for now shows wrong colours when transparent background is not activated but the exported file seems to be correct. Example with dithering for the gradient and a red colour shape with a blur on it.

    you might want to assign or start the Programs with the nvidia gpu. https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/support/articles/000087403/intel-nuc.html If it looks like the image below, change it to the Nvidia card for some extra power inside the affinity suite.

    updates 1.x.x where covered in the V1 releases. Since it is a perpetual licence, you can use it further without a need to purchase v2. v2 is an upgrade and you would have to purchase to use it after the trial on your account/pc ended. updates in 2.x.x will again be covered in the bought license. V3 is an upgrade, you would have to buy it . v3 updates 3.x.x. will again be covered in the bought license. V1 is officially feature frozen, no new features will be added. There is a pin in the FAQ that V1 customers will get compatibility patches for their Systems like windows 10/11 and on the Apple systems etc.

    here is a screenshot form Ipad, on the top right within the Layer stack, there is a trashcan button. you could watch the Intro videos on youtube for iPad for an easier start.

    Have you downloaded the old Version 1 Installers from your account? https://store.serif.com/de/account/downloads/ The current 30 day trial is for V2 which is not covered with your Version 1 licenses. To have a working license for V2 after the trial, you would need to purchase it.

    @TheFlow By any chance, do you have the Ryzen Powerplan (inside your Energy-settings) installed?     Great that it is useful for you. Those Buttons in your image are for aligning layer content and depending on the use case (placing an image logo via macro) they are of course a great enough alternative to the "place..." feature.

    dragging a png into the opened document allows the macro to be recorded but there is no dedicated placement and snapping feature.

    some possible reservations against msix is to avoid any still looming potential security breaches.     point is; the Thread here is about a user who complained not to get V1 licenses. Serif team responded and says they can give V1 licenses when V2 is purchased. its a fantastic deal especially considering that V1 will get some compatibility patches.

    currently there is no open document again Button available. script api is not there yet, no release info for it. More info from the devs about scripting, it is planned but not available yet. Affinity will support Javascript and also have a 'C' based API binding interface that people can use to write plugins. Links to the developer statements;

    @Lorox Fear not that V1 installation could ever get overwritten by V2. V2 uses an entirely different installer and saves itself on a different folder structure.* For anything else the comment by MikeTO has it covered. *speaking for Windows. no idea about macOS IpadOS
