sounds the same as the english text but the DXF file format is not mentioned at all under; Professional Colour, Compatibility, and Output Professionelle Farben, Kompatibilität und Ausgabe https://affinity.serif.com/de/designer/full-feature-list/ Missing for both german and english website so the customer has zero chance to know for certain if there are export capabilities, it feels like it is implied* but not explicitly written down. -
Has V2 fixed Affinity's biggest issues?
myclay replied to Kal's topic in Feedback for the Affinity V2 Suite of Products
ouch, I genuinely missed that and thought it was new, my apologies and thanks for correcting me. -

@Kal 1 Bit image support (png with 1 bit) is in, the preview for now shows wrong colours when transparent background is not activated but the exported file seems to be correct. Example with dithering for the gradient and a red colour shape with a blur on it. -
updates 1.x.x where covered in the V1 releases. Since it is a perpetual licence, you can use it further without a need to purchase v2. v2 is an upgrade and you would have to purchase to use it after the trial on your account/pc ended. updates in 2.x.x will again be covered in the bought license. V3 is an upgrade, you would have to buy it . v3 updates 3.x.x. will again be covered in the bought license. V1 is officially feature frozen, no new features will be added. There is a pin in the FAQ that V1 customers will get compatibility patches for their Systems like windows 10/11 and on the Apple systems etc.

slow start up on Affinity Photo 2
myclay replied to Dell U2713HM's topic in V2 Bugs found on Windows
@TheFlow By any chance, do you have the Ryzen Powerplan (inside your Energy-settings) installed? (on windows 10 and 11) you would need to install the AMD chipset drivers to get the correct one for your cpu. https://www.amd.com/en/support The Powerplan helps your OS(win 10/11) in selecting the fastest single core on your CPU for every application/program etc. https://www.notebookcheck.net/AMD-and-Microsoft-finally-acknowledge-poor-L3-cache-performance-and-CPU-scheduling-issues-with-Ryzen-processors-in-Windows-11-after-nearly-three-months-of-complaining.569990.0.html It takes roughly <12 seconds on my PC and Ryzen 2700 to get to the "New" screen. the CPU is only one gen higher than yours. -
Great that it is useful for you. Those Buttons in your image are for aligning layer content and depending on the use case (placing an image logo via macro) they are of course a great enough alternative to the "place..." feature.
-
dragging a png into the opened document allows the macro to be recorded but there is no dedicated placement and snapping feature.

Still can't activate license! Programs stopp starting.
myclay replied to DarkClown's topic in V2 Bugs found on Windows
@DarkClown ouch, hope the staff can help you! I think it would be best to put this (annoying account/license) issue into the customer service category or maybe even write a direct email? https://forum.affinity.serif.com/index.php?/forum/51-customer-service-accounts-and-purchasing/ -
some possible reservations against msix is to avoid any still looming potential security breaches. Microsoft had to disable the msix protocol this year due to malware attack vulnerabilities. https://techcommunity.microsoft.com/t5/windows-it-pro-blog/disabling-the-msix-ms-appinstaller-protocol-handler/ba-p/3119479

currently there is no open document again Button available. script api is not there yet, no release info for it. More info from the devs about scripting, it is planned but not available yet. Affinity will support Javascript and also have a 'C' based API binding interface that people can use to write plugins. Links to the developer statements;
