    count me in on the need for proper TGA support. Many game engines and other Programs rely on that file format. since its "old" it means, the specifications won´t change and thus due to the "old" status TGA is a reliable file format which is necessary for game dev tasks. Please add it. Its simply frustrating to use other programs to get the needed result(s).

    you could click on View and disable "Dock Tools" and then move the floating Tools to the right side. So far, it doesn´t seem possible to additionally dock it to the right side thus I also want to have that docking option.

    since its not possible yet to change the compression method , it sounds more like the well known feature request(s).     yeah directly exporting as PSD is possible as @verysame described, I guess its more about preserving text layers?

    Hello Affinity Team, it would be cool to have the Divide Blend mode included in Affinity Photo and Designer.

    it is possible, here is one possible solution; take out the saturation fix the lightness as good as you can. (New layer and colour pick neighbouring areas with the correct values and paint them in with a soft brush overlay your original picture and set the layer blending to Colour. use colour picker on a new layer (also set to colour) sample the colours next to the areas which needs fixing and overpaint it. If you put more time into the lightness fixing step, you can fix it quite easily.

    Hello Michael, load the greyscale textures as layers, for using them as masks, rightclick on the image, rasterise it. within the channels tab,(if you are in greyscale mode) rightclick on the intensity cannel and use 'create Mask Layer'. when done with all Masks, turn the document into RGB to load your coloured image. for each mask, use a copy of the coloured image and group it. now you can use Layer effects which will only take effect within that group. one possible result could be this; cheers myclay

    Great tips here, additionally use the colour picker and paint over areas which you want to change with the same lightness value and then use the patch tool to copy details over. For fixing the eyes; use Highpass, set it to Hard light and the live high pass to contrast negate. most important part; use masks to isolate the effects to certain areas. and use Layers when using the patching. Add HSL Shift Adjustment or other adjustments for changing the overall colour. There are probably more ways to fix this image but for a start this should help. :)

    the error manroe is facing is because of mixed http and https content... thus the false message pops up. the affinity products themselves are save.

    No problems so far with the re-written Wacom pen input but I can´t point yet the difference between this and the old one. Intous 5 (without touch) PTK -650/K + the 6.3.20-5 driver

    With over 10 years of knowledge of having used Adobe Photoshop (since CS3 was released), the switch was quite easy for me. Granted, Affinity Photo might have some small missing features but as a good customer, I decided to give bug reports and feature wishes so the Developers are able to help and optimize their products and so far Serif delivers. If by any chance, you want to see Affinity Photo get better for your needs; do the same in writing bug reports and do detailed feature wishes. :)

    pricing and perpetual licence played an significant role. Biggest Factor in buying for me was the unprecedented accuracy of loading complex layered PSDs. Additionally, I started to love Affinity Photo since it offers a couple features which other programs are not having.

    Games also are bought for that price point and give a good margin out... International global marked; many customers. official language support for a lot of languages and languages which are also known by a much lager group thru second- language acquisition. Don´t forget that with the release of the windows version, Serif magnified the possible customer base by a big factor and thanks to having an own store for that bigger customer base, they where able to reduce the current ~30% income cut-off which they have with other stores. With other words; they already looked at a way to conveniently secure and increase their income.

    Hello sahar and erwinprasetyo, its not an elegant solution but you could use the shift tool and the transform properties to archive RTL writing. For better results, use a box behind the text for snapping when using shift.

    Hello Testtools, it is already included :) just go into the settings(the menu symbol on the top right) of the Color and select 16bit. hope it helps. :)

    Hello Affinity Photo Team :) , could an option get added, which enables an automatic detection and an prompt which asks, if the user wants to reload the currently opened file? Such feature would help when the interchange format got externally edited. Additionally a manual option for reloading the currently opened file would also be nice.
