    Für das zurücksetzen der Pinsel kann man entweder folgendes ausprobieren; Bearbeiten>Einstellungen>Verschiedenes> Pinsel zurücksetzen. Oder alternativ und für alle Programme; Vor dem Starten und klicken auf Affintiy Photo bitte STRG gedrückt halten und solange warten bis das folgende Fenster auftaucht. unter "alle Apps des Typs Affinity 2" dann Pinsel zurücksetzen selektieren und Löschen klicken.

    This is an interesting take and might be true in many cases. When you want to program with for example python, the official installer recommends and gives the option of disabling the 256char limit. Disabling that limit is done to prevent problems and having much easier debugging (finding errors) capabilities.

    I am afraid to say, you have to use the old versions from Blender 2.9x. There is no support yet for the newest version 2.X.X (from 2020 upwards). It would be cool thou when Serif updates their programs so they are compatible with the standards written down by the Visual Effects Society Technology Committee and other Software vendors. https://vfxplatform.com/

    pretty much what you wrote; MSI apps are not sandboxed from other applications (important when working with other programs) MSI has easy discovery of app locations for launching from a third-party. same as above. MSI can allow the user to change the installation directory. (SSDs, M.2-SSDs are still expensive) MSI updates require a manual download of the full ~550mb installer which must be manually installed. <- preferable when known regressions have happened or you need to "lock in" a version for workflow reasons on a big project.

    I think @luki1412 is unhappy about the anchoring in the pricing which seems to not be in the favor of cases where customers want to only update or purchase two of the programs? The anchoring is great when the customer has has all three programs on one System (146,97€) vs the Universal which costs less.(119,99€)

    uh... Those where ancient times and nowadays many 2D programs are readily available which are in fierce competition with each other, be it feature and price wise.

    Hello, with the new msix builds thats not possible during install. you could after installation go into your installed apps and then move the install to another drive. exe files are announced but we do not know if they allow custom installation paths.

    For the internet connection stuff: Within the Preferences> Miscellaneous is an option to untick automatic uploading of crash reports. Edit; the Affinity Suite is checking once per Startup (or day?) if a new update is available that too could mean that low traffic is happening.

    @DarkClown Hi, I would advice to temporarily use the edit in Photo command to add the Perspective tool and then go back to Designer. That way you still have the vectorshape and the gradient.

    sounds the same as the english text but the DXF file format is not mentioned at all under; Professional Colour, Compatibility, and Output Professionelle Farben, Kompatibilität und Ausgabe https://affinity.serif.com/de/designer/full-feature-list/ Missing for both german and english website so the customer has zero chance to know for certain if there are export capabilities, it feels like it is implied* but not explicitly written down.

    Those plugins only work on pixel layers which you have selected. If you have used the stock image panel, pixelate the image and use then your plugin. on windows, it looks like this;

    @Kal 1 Bit image support (png with 1 bit) is in, the preview for now shows wrong colours when transparent background is not activated but the exported file seems to be correct. Example with dithering for the gradient and a red colour shape with a blur on it.

    you might want to assign or start the Programs with the nvidia gpu. https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/support/articles/000087403/intel-nuc.html If it looks like the image below, change it to the Nvidia card for some extra power inside the affinity suite.

    Thank you very much sadly I don´t have a mac, but being able to also vectorize videos sounds amazing.
