  1. Hi All The select sampled colour feature is something that is simply missing on Windows currently but should be put in before the end of the beta :)
  2. Hi IMM I see now, the correct cursor not showing when using a pen and windows ink is a known issue to us
  3. Thanks for raising this TEcHNOpls This also affects the Mac side too so I shall get this logged. ;ve not been able to cause any issue when rotating the object so far though
  4. Hi kfriis I think you raise a good point here, especially with how a lot of computing has moved to be tablet based and I don't see this slowing down anytime in the future. As machines such as the surface us the same OS as the desktop, I doubt we would make a separate version specifically for touch. However, we are currently developing the apps for the iPad which is obviously touch orientated so we are creating a UI to suit this. I think it would be a fanstatic idea if once we got that UI locked down we created a similar setup for Windows touch devices and had an option in the app to switch between a desktop and a touch interface without needing another app. This would be quite the large undertaking so i would not expect to see anything like this soon but I definitely think it would be a fantastic feature and would help us keep ahead of the curve! I shall suggest this to the relevant people, but in the meantime I shall move this to the feature requests section as this will not be part of the initial release
  5. Hi FPilou We don't have any tool or process to do what I think you're asking for. The only way to do it currently is to select the individual elements separately and apply the fill one at a time, unless you can use a gradient instead depending on what it is you want to achieve. I'm going to move this to our feature requests section in case we decide to consider something like this for the future
  6. HI vin31cer Having more information is never a bad idea. I'm going to move this into the feature requests section so we can consider adding more information
  7. Hi Lichtbildner I've been trying this on build 39 which you should get soon and I'm able to fill the layer fine. Looking at your screenshots it could have something to do with the selection you have so I would perhaps try deselecting and then try to fill the layer. If it still doesn't work in build 39 for you would you be able to provide a video showing your process or some step by step screenshots? Thanks
  8. Hi MarvinR I shall look into the combination of the quick mask and refining. For what you are trying to do it seems it might be easier to go to Select > Refine Edges (or press ctrl+alt+R) when you have the Flood Select Tool active, which should do the same job as the Brush refine button for you
  9. Hi Eastjack, welcome to the forums Thanks for posting this. It is something I am able to replicate with your image. Although I only find this is when trying to select the top left area quickly. If i move slower then it does seem to select that area only but it's still a little finicky. I also only seem to get this with the image you've provided, I've tried a couple of other images and they seem to be working as expected. I;m not sure what makes this different but I shall keep looking into it
  10. HI Ferri Luca Are you able to provide the image you are trying to export to TIFF and any settings that you have for the TIFF export. If you unable to attach it here would you be able to uploaded to dropbox supply a link to them. For you second point, wen you place an image inside another one, it is classed as an image layer and is treated as a single object. If you rasterise the image layer to convert it to a pixel layer the selection will work more as you expect
  11. Thanks for the feedback Paul. I'll get this passed on to the development team
  12. Hi nicelife Although it would be nice that it did this, it is not a bug that it does not. I'm going to move this to our feature requests section
  13. Hi MarvinR Thanks for sending the report we shall take a look at it. This could be down to an issue with using the app of extended periods of time rather than your specific file which would be why the file is fine afterwards
  14. Hi Vicks We used a tile preview which allows us to take advantage of the GPU power for rendering. When you move or zoom you change what needs to be shown on each tile which is the cause of the flickering. This usually is too quick to notice especially on higher spec machines. Are you able to provide some specs for you machine? we might be able to recreate a similar setup to look at improving this
  15. Hi IMM Welcome to the forums The crosshair does show if you have the option selected. This will only show for brush based tools. If you reduce the size of the brush it does disappear as there is not enough room inside the circle to display it, but if you zoom into the image you will see it re-appear as the visual space increases
  16. Hi Bardo70 We currently don;t use .psd or .afphoto files for the HDR merge. I shall move this into our feature requests section. In the meantime i would recommend exporting the images to a format such as tiff
  17. Hi Treehunter The crop is non-destructive so you effectively reduce the viewing size rather than the size of the object. When you set the export to selection without background you are selecting the entire size of the image rather than the cropped area. Once cropped if you do not wish to expand the crop again afterwards you can rasterise the layer and this will cut it down to the crop size.
  18. Hi libfree I;m moving this to our feature requests section
  19. Hi Xavier This is a known issue that also effects the Mac side so we already have it logged :)
  20. Hi Pollux I have now passed the images on to our development team to look into
  21. Hi Zox are you able to describe what actions you were performing when the crash occurred? Thanks
  22. Hi dke are you able to provide some example tiff files that cause the crash so we can investigate this further? You can upload the files using this link Thanks
