  1. Hi Depa

Thanks for the file. I've been able to replicate the crash but only with the file you have sent me. If i try with a fresh image and create a macro to add the same adjustments, cannot get the crash to occur. Would you be able to export the macro you used and attach it here So I can try that?

    Thanks

  2. Hi Kyle

The layers in Affinity work slightly differently in Affinity then perhaps you are used to.

There isn't really a method to achieve what you are after using clipping however there are other ways. Adjustment layers in Affinity are also masks within themselves rather than having a linked mask like in PS. This allows you to paint directly on the adjustment layer to edit it's masking. Therefore one method to achieve the above would be to paint on the curves to create your mask area, go to Select > Selection from layer which should select your masked area, then add the HSL adjustment which will then be automatically masked to the selection area without having to add any additional masks

If you already have the adjustments applied like in your screenshot you can group them and apply a mask to the group or move the one you already have on to it. Alternatively you can use the above selection method and create a second mask for the HSL adjustment which is the same by just clicking create mask

  3. Hi haitashe

When you say the image is moving do you mean the the image underneath the brush stroke eg the sewing machine image? From what I can see from  your screenshot you are using a 1px brush which will appear pixellated. Although I'm not really sure exactly what it is you are seeing. are you able to provide any video or some more detailed screenshots or steps so we can investigate this further

That depends upon the dynamics of the brush. The brush texture is laid along the stroke as you draw, so it will often change as the stroke gets longer.

This is true of vector brushes you would find in Designer but not the raster brushes in the Photo app which basically repeat the single texture image

  4. Hi Veidd

If you have both images open in affinty then the colour picker will one apply to the active document, which as the time is the second image you picked the colour from. However, on the colour panel the small circle next to the colour picker there will change and this will carry over between documents. You can click on this circle with the objects selected to apply the colour

  5. Hi Régal

Our tiff export is quite complicated so there is something in the format that both GIMP and Easy Photo print EX does not like. Similar tiff files from PS also throw up these errors which are also pretty complicated. Are you able to print the tiff without using the included Canon software, eg straight form Affinity Photo or directly from Microsoft's picture viewer?
