  1. Hi nobert.r Thanks for the file. This seems to be something that is happening with a number of Panasonic Raw files, I've added you image to the reported. Hopefully we can get this sorted :)
  2. Hi PaulEC The apply in PS is basically a rasterise. As well as doing this from the layer menu you can also right click on the layer name the mask is attached to (instead of the thumbnail) and the rasterise option is there too. The ellipses are there as there is another dialog if the layer you are rasterising has layer effects applied to it :)
  3. norbert.r, welcome to the forums :) This could be due to the different filter patterns, we do use dcraw for our raw engine. Are you able to provide an example raw image from the camera so we can take a look into this? Thanks
  4. Hi MarvinR Thanks for raising this. I have logged the issue and passed it over to the development team :)
  5. Hi Mike I believe you reported something similar with preview a while ago, so I'm going to guess it may be a similar thing. I have logged this separately though just in case. If you ae able to get this repeatedly with tiff from a specific external editor, it would be great to verify which one so we can look into this more Thanks :)
  6. Hi Paul When you closed the image did you save it to an afphoto file? If not then the guides will not have been saved with the image
  7. HI Gaetano This is expected. The view option is set per document rather than being a global setting :)
  8. Thanks for raising this Nikos. I've been able to recreate this so I shall make sure it gets logged with the developers to fix Cheers
  9. Hi Steday You can convert a layer into a mask by going to Layer > Rasterise to Mask. You can them move this in the layers tab to mask the object of your choice Thanks
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Hi KalleR, welcome to the forums This is dues to a broken monitor profile. Try switching the ICC profile for the monitor to something like sRGB and you should see it become white again.
  11. Hi Chris82 I've just tried opening the file you attached in 1.5.0.42 here and it seems to open fine. Just a couple of quick questions. In preferences what ICC profile do you have it set to to be assigned by default? If you make a copy of your Affinity folder in %appdata% and then ctrl+run the app and clear all the options, does the file open for you? Thanks
  12. Hi DavidN, welcome to the forums I've just tried a 48 bit tif file here and it seemed to open fine so it looks like we do support them. There maybe something in the tifs from your scanner that our app does not like. Are you able to provide a link to one so we can take a look into it? If you'd prefer for it to be kept private you can use this link to upload them
  13. Hi Tooslow The full screen view is something that is related to the Mac OS which contains this feature. This is not part of the Windows version which is why you can find it. I've passed this on to our documentation team to get this amended
  14. hi claudeb, welcome to the froums Thanks for reporting this, I've passed it on to our translation team. Cheers
  15. Hi Michael Thanks for the suggestion. Also good to hear how we can improve. I;m going to move this to the feature requests section for consideration
  16. Hi verysame As you have seen there seems to be a few issue wiht the character panel at the moment. Thanks for letting us know about this we shall make sure it gets logged
  17. Hi and#, welcome to the forums Thanks for letting us know we shall add this to our list. Just out of curiosity are you using the plug in on the background layer? Does it work at all if you unlock that layer?
  18. HI Kasper-V Sounds like it is a simple re-draw issue. what GPU/graphics card are you currently using?
  19. Hi Morne Due to the nature of tone mapping this can only be a destructive process I'm afraid. :)
  20. Hi Daniele I would say these are certainly more suggestions then bugs with the tool. But there is no reason why some of these cannot be implemented in the future especially resizing of a selection. I'm going to move this to the feature requests section for the developers consideration
  21. Hi maxen This is because you have objects masking the adjustment layers. The bounding box shows the area for the objects in the top of the hierarchy, which being adjustment layers are basically infinite so it seems to be confusing the app. I would recommend the adjustment to the object rather than the object to the adjustment, although this will change the visual so it may need some tweaking afterwards
  22. HI AiDon This is a known issue with images not being passed through to plug ins with the set profile. It is something we have logged and are looking into
  23. Hi bendito33 Just a quick and probably dumb question, you don't have the selection as select all when you try to invert it do you?
  24. Hi Laurentia See my reply to your windows post on the same issue here
