It's not available in any of our apps but is something that we are looking top implement across the board in the future

Not quite at the moment we have the ability to hide all guides and use Tab to hide the UI but that's about it for now

If you select the frame with the picture frame tool you should get some controls at the bottom to move and scale the image. You can also do it by selecting the image in inside the picture frame on the layers panel and resizing it with the move tool. Unfortunately it is not working at the minute but there is also a lock children option on the context toolbar which will let you resize the picture frame without changing the contents

We will not be able to import indesign files on initial release but it is something we are looking to do in the future. For the print optoins my best advice is to go and explore what options we have available already and see if they suit your needs, they are all contained within our print dialog Thanks

If you display the text frame studio panel form the View > Studio menu you can set the fill and stroke of a text frame there. You can also add decorations around paragraphs in the Paragraph panel Cheers

you can convert fiiller text to plain text by right clicking on it and selecting expand or you can choose to place filler text as text in the general section of preferences

Hi alo we saw something like this pre-beta where it printed an extra blank page then the document. Is that something you are getting here?

You can assign one in the Keyboard shortcuts section of the Preferences

Hi mkdm You may have missed the text on our website or other release material, but these personas are intentionally disabled as they required 1.7 verision of Designer and Photo to be installed which will not be available until later on in the beta phase Cheers

Indeisgn import is planned but will most likely not be available for the initial release. I cannot say when it would be implemented

Publisher, or any of the Affinity apps, does not support RTL text at this point I'm afraid

Did you get your other two apps from the Mac App Store? From what I;m told the versions from the app store actually have a slightly different sized icon from the apps that are not (like this beta). So If you pick up Publisher form the app store when it is released it will probably b the same size as the others.

I have been looking at your replies but as you can expect It's been a bit busy so I've been trying to find the moments to give it the right attention. I'm only really going to address bugs at this point so I shall leave the requests at the moment. Publisher is 1.7 so any files will not open in 1.6 of any app as it contains elements these apps don't have and understand. I see what you mean about the file saying <embedded> when you are editing it after it has been linked. this is because i needs some sort of file name and by default it has always been embedded. Just an oversight and should probably be given a better name like the actual file name when editing to reflect this. As you above issues seemed to have sorted themselves out I'll have a look at the updating of embedded and linked files and see what I can pull out of this as I would not be surprised if there are more than a few issues here Cheers

This is intentional as it is dynamic with the text frame size. You can expand the filler text to normal text by selecting it and choosing expand on the right click menu or you can set the option in preferences to have filler text as text

No you are not missing anything, this is something you have to set up manually with guides at the moment I'm afraid Cheers

The tutorials are meant to be quick introductions to show elements of the app for the beta. These will be replaced at time of release with more in depth tutorials. The app also has an inbuilt help that explains things like the tools which may be of use thanks

Currently if you just paste the text it will paste as a text frame. If you select a cell it should paste it's contents into a table cell. We're not advanced enough yet to auto create a table I;m afraid
