Sorry, I have five pictures opened , but it has not appeared. Just to make sure I got my question right I meant the bar which has 01. Levels 02. Black and White 03.Cropping 04. Straightening......

I can select the brush from the left panel. Then when I drag on the object no red stroke appears. In the history it does show that I am using the inpainting brush After I release the pad, a progress bar appears but nothing happens in the picture! Ithis is the case with all the other brushes, they dont work cant select anytihng on the picture Have I messed up a setting?

I was watching the tutorial and i saw that he had a shortcut bar on the top. How do I get it to appear? Screen grab from the video attached Tx

I have a problem on the next step. The brush does not work. Though it shows a message in History and another window also comes as soon as I release the mouse... I dont see the magical red colour :(
