  1. I did so many times in my initial troubleshooting and unfortunately it doesn’t work. Even after many reboots I’m stuck.
  2. Thanks for your reply. Unfortunately, I have tried every one of those measure but for the last. I won't do that because the AppStore is not allowing any downloads and I can't risk being without the app. It's a common problem in the App Store and Apple has little to nothing to say about it except offering similar suggestions that offer no relief.
  3. I own Publisher, Designer and Photo. I bought the first directly and the latter two via the Mac Store. Unfortunately, the App Store on my Mac is acting up and won't let me perform ANY updates. It just times out even though all else is fine. No amount of searching in the Apple forums has solved the issue. As such I need to download the latter two so I can upgrade to the latest version. Can someone please reach out to me so that I can update Photo and Designer. I noticed that for some odd reason there are no update or search for update links within the application itself. Thanks. Mark
  4. I would like to add this to a much needed feature! For logos in particular, the ability to quickly create different colored versions is absolutely essential. Doing objects one at a time is rather time consuming! :-)
  5. Thanks for your response. The concern I have with your solution is that it means changes to the original are not automatically propogated to the other art boards (unless I misunderstand how they work). By being able to selection a work and simply select a type of export such as those I suggested at RUN TIME, you relieve me of having to maintain multiple sets of the image. From what I can see, and I am willing to be accept I may be wrong, Artboards merely allow you to store multiple pieces of work in a single file. That doesn't address my concern. Have I misunderstood you at all? Thanks! Mark
  6. Hi, first of all, I LOVE Designer! It's been a wonderful experience, and for the most part reasonably intuitive, learning to do the basic things I want to do designing a logo. My question is this. Is there some simple way of creating Export profiles that for example, take a given logo and export it is white, or black, or any given monotone color for that matter. This would be enormously useful. Right now, I create a Black and White FX layer over my main colored logo. This does the trick but it means I have to enable and disable the layer every time I want to do the export. It seems, particularly with Logo design, that a lot of variations are likely required in size, transparency and color...black on white, white on black, white on transparent, black on transparent, x color on either...you get the picture! This way, I can just return to my "master file" for each variation of the main design, and export the things I've described on demand without recreating, or storing a separate version every time. Ideally, I would love to save these various export configurations. I see an export configuration option, but it doesn't seem to include size in pixels (I suspect I'm missing it), and color. Thanks. I look forward to hearing your thoughts! Mark
