  1. I currently use a BenQ 4K monitor with a late 2013 Mac Pro. I finally gave in after waiting on Apple for a Display replacement. I run the BenQ at full 3840 x 2160 resolution, great for desk-space and photos but not so much for a User Interface that does not allow scaling. An example is Spotify, in the view menu it allows zoom+ zoom- for the actual UI. As you can see in the attached full screen grab my Affinity Photo UI is tiny, and pretty hard to see, especially for those of us who need reading glasses. So the new feature request is — Allow users to zoom in the UI, while keeping the monitor setting at full resolution.
  2. MEB that is great, I read through the FAQ after posting this topic. One of Aperture's greatest benefits is SPEED. Hope your team takes this one, it will be very successful.
  3. Why not like Aperture? It's true that Capture One has superior RAW tools, and tethered shooting support it's cataloging and interface not nearly as intuitive as Aperture, even though Aperture has not been updated in years. Lightroom is a dog, I run a Mac Pro (can) with 64GB of RAM, and Lightroom crawls on it when Aperture flies through 50,000+ photos. Affinity is the company take over this niche, please do it guys.
  4. Affinity Team — Please build an Apple Aperture replacement. I know dozens of co-photographers both amateur and pro's would will buy this product in a second. Lightroom is awful. Capture One is good for tethered work, but it's expensive and not nearly as user friendly as Aperture. Photos is not the answer. This is a huge gap in the applications market. I use, and my friends still use, Aperture on a daily basis however we fear that with the next Mac OS version after 10.11 support for Aperture will finally go away. If any company is capable of building this next great photo management and adjustment application it's your team. Please consider it.
