I just did a quick test and it worked fine. Yes I was lucky that the line were straight.

 

I did straggle thought to find the vertical blue line. Anyway now I know.

No is not, and the picture is in BW.

 

No I don't have Affinity Photo (I read somewhere that it was easier too)

 

Also I did struggle with cropping as well after selecting a specific area. I read different solution here and they were "way around it" for the whole document.

I am new to Affinity Designer and after my online research I wasn't able to find a solution. So I hope someone out there can help me.

I have a PNG file and I am trying to have a transparent background (White at the moment) so I can place my image in any other contest.
