I have the same problem, since about a week. It will only export after I restart the computer. Sometimes it won't even allow me to save the file.
Never had this problem before and have worked with Affinity for a few years on my Mac now. Please help.

I run Affinity Photo 1.6.6 and Affinity Designer 1.5.1
it used to be easy to switch from one to the other, by simply clicking on edit in Designer when I was in Photo and edit in Photo when I was in Designer.
Now I can't even import a Photo file created by Affinity Photo into Designer unless I convert it into a jep.
What am I missing ?

Ok many thanks, I can stop trying to solve this now.
Hopefully the update for Photo won't be to long.

I work between Designer and Photo. Usually this is easy, as I can move with the help of edit in Designer when I am in Photo and visa versa. But now they are blanked out and for some reason this function is not working.

Please can you help me with a basic problem? I have over 900 product images that need editing for a website, most of them are of poor quality. To start with I need to reduce the strong shadow created by a light inside that is in many images.
I have searched the forums and videos but cannot really find a way.
