  1. Hopefully when you have the Arabic/Farsi 100%, I will be in touch...
  2. Amir - I can certainly test with Farsi which is more or less the same as Arabic... You should have my details in the sign up from your website.
  3. This is such a shame as Serif are shooting themselves in the foot by ignoring the RTL users. I have personally signed up for your app... So let's see Amir...
  4. Well Thank you for that. I am normally on Windows anyway and I shall be for my Farsi project I will use your tip! But agreed such a shame MAC does not have this feature!
  5. This may have been asked before but does APhoto & ADesigner support WEBP files? or will they?
  6. @VAQARSHA I don't have Designer on this Mac but trying it on Photo, as you can see the top line is the native to AP but using a website that reverses the text, produces such result. Note I am using LALEZAR font which is a google font (This project is Farsi but should not make a difference).
  7. Last time I tried it did not work as it mirrors the letters that make up the work - so you can use a site like this http://www.arabic-keyboard.org/photoshop-arabic/ which mirrors the letters to be pasted in the right order but Affinity still ignores it. This is the same with the veteran Serif Page Plus.
  8. Thanks Walt! That now makes total sense. In fact Chris was right in saying on both OSes the behaviour was the same. I was thinking of Designer. I wish Photo would be the same as the designer. Would be very helpful on occasions when you have to work in zoomed out mode. Thanks again for the clarification Walt.
  9. Chris in any case why is the font is treated as a low-res image and loses its visual quality? Is this common practice?
  10. That should not effect it. I have no issues on the Windows version. It should still retain the integrity of the font. It is not a low-res image.
  11. Hi; I work with APhoto both on MAC & Windows and have this issue with it displaying fonts in such poor state, however the exported work is perfect. I have: Model Name: iMac Model Identifier: iMac12,2 Processor Name: Intel Core i7 Processor Speed: 3.4 GHz Number of Processors: 1 Total Number of Cores: 4 L2 Cache (per Core): 256 KB L3 Cache: 8 MB Memory: 16 GB System Version: macOS 10.12.6 (16G2136) Kernel Version: Darwin 16.7.0
  12. The issue is the text engine does not even put the mirrored text in the right order. Due to the nature of the RTL (Not so much Hebrew) where the letters are joined together, it makes it very complex. I am in the middle of Farsi/English book and I have long given up on APUB. It is really a shame that this was not thought through from the beginning of the development especially if Serif likes to offer alternatives to the likes of Adobe...
  13. Using an online "Arabic" PS keyboard does not work with some Farsi fonts as it fails to join them correctly and when imported into APUB, it is incorrect and a mess. This applies to the trio. Please prioritise native RTL support.
  14. Mine is AD is hijacking APub documents which is not a big deal but annoying....
  15. Ash + Team; You guys are amazing and doing an amazing job!!! For the next two I too will be working from home scanning 3000 images and cleaning them. So its me + Affinty Photo and a flat scanner. Thank you for such wonderful applications and dedicated support. Keep up the good work!!!
  16. Yes guys @Joachim_L has got it! I doubt this is a windows issue as I don't have this with any other software. It is not a big deal as I can manage but I thought I will bring to your attention and @Gmit makes some valid points.
  17. That's not what I meant. But thank you.
  18. This is good and bad. If I have a APUB document, I would really want to open it in Publisher (99.9%) of the time.
  19. Guy's realistically when do you think you will have RTL support on APUB? Version 2.0?
