Could you please as well add Color Correction with SpyderCheckr or SypderCheckr from Datacolor?

Unfortunately there's no Flow shortcut that I'm aware of, however you can use Opacity Quick Keys to change the opacity of your brush on the fly.
To use this, please press a numerical key, or two numerical keys in quick succession, to set the opacity. For example:
Press 4 for 40% opacity.
Press 0 for 100% opacity.
Press 4 then 5 for 45% opacity.
Press 0 then 7 for 7% opacity.
I hope this helps!

Oh wow, great, thanks!

Two very simple feature requests to enhance working at speed with Affinity... Currently PS has these and it makes a huge difference when working at speed.
Can we have a switch on/off button in the actual adjustment window rather than having to switch on and off in the layers section. It makes easy comparisons with adjustments much faster by reducing all that pesky mouse movement across the screen.
Can we have an easier to view indicator of the brush colour in use rather than having to use the Colour palette. Maybe something in the top bar next to the opacity levels?
Sooo very close methinks to having everything we need with the latest version. I've already bought and paid for it, but there are just a few elements that aren't as fast as Mr A. And that makes a huge difference to a working pro at speed.
miss_c reacted to walt.farrell in No eyedropper indicator when holding alt
The Status Bar at the bottom of the screen always shows the modifiers that are valid for the current tool. That's one thing that is consistent across the Affinity suite, and that all users should learn early. For the Paint Brush Tool it says "Drag+Alt to use color picker", so the information is there for anyone to see. Though I would argue that it's incorrect, and should say "Alt+Drag", because as it's worded you get a brush stroke before you get the color picker.

It's already added as a Feature Request, and you replied to one such request just before making this post

You are assuming these are well-made logos lol. The one I'm working with, at least, was made using the default textured brush in Illustrator. I can't manually trace all of those little edges and textures, and I'm not going to modify their logo for my convenience and taste.
We are all professionals here. We all know that we are capable of recreating logos that support it. These tools are useful in situations that are less than ideal, where we need stuff as vector but don't have the time/resources or for a variety of reasons cannot simply recreate the logo/work.

Please add this feature with any SpyderCheckr; that would be a start!
miss_c reacted to Samoreen in AP 1.6 : workspace destroyed after update
Updating to AP 1.6 destroyed my workspace. Now I have to rebuild it from scratch. Thanks a lot.
Things would be easier if we had a way to save and reload our workspaces. This is an old request but it is still ignored. All similar programs have a way to save multiple workspaces. Why not in AP ? The answers given until now to this request have been ridiculous, to say the least. It's a pity because AP is a very powerful program. Why not implement this so usual feature that is so easy to program ? I can't understand this.
miss_c reacted to Samoreen in Affinity Photo - Saving the Workspace?
Well, kind of. Maybe a mix of all these. In one of the above mentioned threads, the Project Manager answered that he wanted to give a higher priority to more important features. However, as I explained, adding this workspace management feature wouldn't take much time. The workspace saving and reading code is already written. What is missing is just a naming mechanism and a few menu items. This can be written in a few hours, if not minutes. So I don't understand this stubborn attitude. It would be so easy to make many users happier with a feature that is available in any other similar software.
miss_c reacted to MJSfoto1956 in my requirements for batch operations
for batch operations to be useful to me, they need to be able to do the following:
macro must be able to open a <variable> folder for each *.afphoto file type in the folder: open the file if there is a layer that begins with "©" then turn that layer off choose export set output quality to JPEG high quality set the smallest dimension to 5400 pixels (no matter what whether it is horizontal or vertical orientation) export the file appending the string "18x" to the end of the filename close the window, choosing to ignore saving changes (if any) repeat until done
I hope that your forthcoming macros feature covers all the above requirements (and more!)
