See the attachments - But until a couple of months ago Affinity Photo was working OK and I was entirely satisfied, but now am experiencing innumerable and frustrating problems

My Affinity Photo program on my MACMini is continually freezing and I am having to FORCE QUIT it, then re-open it. This is becoming more frequent (every 3-4 images that I open) Note: Accordingly EXPORT doesn't function and I have to save as an afphoto after which no function will operate so have to FORCE QUIT & re-open

Possibly the best course of action would be to delete the existing program and install it afresh

I am exporting to my desktop (on Export) and Affinity now frequently Freezes and I have to Force Quit then restart

My Affinity program is frequently freezing particularly when attempting to Export. I am wondering if I need to delete the existing program and re-load?

Many Thanks, I have been spoit in the past as had/controlled a studio of 9 workstations and then just had to tell someone to do it for me. Now I've retired I have to do it myself and only have basic fundamental operative skills on Photoshop and there are difference in Affinity, but hopefully will get there.

How do I save Affinity images in JPEG

I am trying to copy and open in a new window with Affinity. When I use the Rectangular Marquee tool and copy as I have done in Photoshop I then open a NEW window and Paste, but this doesn't seem to work with Affinity. May sound stupid but can someone explain how in Affinity I can use the Rectangular Marquee tool copy the selected area of an image then Open it in a new window and paste it in?
