I'm not sure if it's there (support for these devices) as I'm waiting for windows version but if not, can you add it?

Asked them on Twitter, they said they currently have no plans for Android so no point in continuing this topic. Maybe some day.

Yesterday (again!) someone asked on twitter (if affinity software will be available to android), to which Serif has responded “Sorry, there are no current plans for an Android version.” So while I agree that no (decent) discussion should ever be discouraged, makes little sense (to me) to encourage a subject officially closed by Devs themselves (numerous times).

I like their products and wish I could use it on my preferred operating systems(Linux[Pop!_OS] & Android). So I'm showing my support for this, +1 for Android. I don't really see a need for discouraging discussion about this. Either Affinity will decide to do it or they won't.

Things are much different today than they were 3y ago. We're getting 12L meaning Android is officially back on big screens and not just some Samsung experiment, sales of high end Android tablets are also going up and some nice SW (LumaFusion) is on it's way to Android. Not saying we'll see Affinity on Android anytime soon, or ever, but with recent development I see a bright future for Android on tablets with or without Serif. Btw if they decide to ignore it, some other  company will jump in.

Those Adobe products are heavily washed down versions. Yes I know Affinity sw for iPads are also somewhat lite, but way more capable than Adobe's offerings which is why Adobe has announced their full blown photoshop for iPads.

Who provided for those who developed all the existing Serif software?  Seems to me...with that perspective...Serif never would have existed...they wouldn't have even tried.

It's very much possible to have an Android version. The excuses about "economic viability" and "fragmentation" are about half a decade outdated. If several small developers can do it, there's no excuse for Serif to not do it other than the lack of will. You don't "have to develop for a thousand different devices" as many here seem to imagine.. that's not how software development works. If that was the case, Android wouldn't have more than 10 apps. You target a specific API level, a specific device performance level and that's about it. Any well-made app will work on almost every mid to high end Android device running Android 9-12 just fine.

That's the only post that makes sense in this whole conversation. Thank you.
Some people should definitely stop talking when they don't know what they are talking about.

WoA supports arm64 compiled programs, it can't emulate x64

WoA can emulate x86(32bit) apps/programs (with a noticeable performance hit). The reason I ask this again is because according to Microsoft developers can compile their win32(64bit)/uwp programs using their new arm64 sdk to make them run natively with no to little additional work needed.

They say that WPF is the problem cuz it's not being ported to ARM.
It's being replaced by WinUI 3.0
Look who's excited about WinUI 3.0 (1st comment)

I give Adobe $372 dollars every year for Photoshop on the Photography plan & separately Adobe Illustrator. I would really like to just pay a one time price for similarly powerful apps. I recently bought Affinity Designer on the Microsoft Store that I use on my PC. I just bought a Surface Pro X and I can only run Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator (32-bit) on it and not the Affinity Designer, which I just bought. I was planning on purchasing Affinity Photo but without being able to run it on my Surface Pro X I am currently holding off. Hoping an ARM64 version is on the horizon, I will be happy to purchase it right away. Maybe Serif should do a pre-order or survey to gauge interest in ARM64 support.
