Hi The only thing I miss so far is the slider to adjust font size, line width etc in the Character dialog box - see screenshot. Could it be included in Publisher? Incidentally, I have imported two large PDF files, one from PagePlus and one from Indesign without any problems. Brian

I think access to the various panels should be easier as they are opened and closed regularly (at least I use them that way). A separate top menu item for 'Studio' would be ideal, as would the equivalent of 'Save Workspace' in Photoshop. Many thanks Brian

I had this a few years ago (not with Affinity). I found this which did the trick: ->Go to CONTROL PANEL. ->Click on SYSTEM AND SECURITY. ->Then you see a lot of options click on ADMINISTRATIVE TOOL. ->Go to LOCAL SECURITY POLICY. ->Double click on LOCAL POLICY. ->Then their are three more options, open SECURITY OPTION. ->Now you see list of Polices and their Security Setting. Scroll down to User Account Control. ->Now Disable all User Account Control Security Settings. HTH Brian

Hi The notes for .12 says 'Fixed PDF font replacements so they are now remembered' But it's still not fully happening - It seems to remember the 'regular' but not the 'Bold', it reverts to the first one on my font list. - see screengrab and pdf attached. Brian QC642.pdf

Hi I've just downloaded the beta, and I am generally very happy with the layout. There is one thing I miss, that is the slider in the Character palette for changing text size - the up and down arrows are also missing (unless they are there and I can't find them) - PP screenshot attached. Could this be added, I found it very useful. Brian

I've been using PagePlus since the very start - I got a 'free' copy of V1 on a floppy disc attached to the front of 'Personal Computer World' magazine around 1991, and I have used most versions since then, along with DrawPlus and Movieplus. My favourite was V3 which I think had a tiger on the CD - I used it to self-publish a book in 1995. I use Photoshop but I haven't upgraded since CS4 in 2008, so I'm looking forward to Affinity Photo and using the latest functions. Brian Price
