I purchased  Affinity Publisher, Design and Photo  directly from Affinity and there isn't any notifications appearing when I open any of those programs.

[Workbook for Publisher?]

Just downloaded Affinity Publisher , I'm really looking forward to commencing working on this, the latest in the Affinity series, I just wondered if or when there might be a workbook available for Publisher, I personally like to work with and from actual hard copies, I already have Affinity Designer and Affinity Photo, and a workbook for Publisher would just b the icing on the cake as it were.

Congratulations and well done to everyone involved with all the hard work in bringing all the Affinity  software to us.

[Is there a way to use Photoshop backgrounds in Affinity Photo]

I have some marble effect files that are for use in Photoshop, the files are ATN, I would like to be able to use them in Affinity Photo, but I don't know if or how I will be able to do that, can anyone advise me if it is possible?

The  Photoshop user notes that came with the files read as follows:-

Method One:
Double Click Marbleit.ATN - This should automatically load the Actions into the Actions Pallete Menu.

If this does not work;

Method Two:
Open Photoshop, and click on the Actions Palette menu button (located in the top-right of the Actions Palette
Select “Load Actions”
Select Marbleit.atn.

Any help or guidance would be much appreciated.  I am using Windows 7 Pro.

Just a quick question (sorry if I'm posting  in the wrong place) do you know if there is going to be an instruction manual for Affinity Photo, similiar to the one produced for Affinity Designer? I prefer to have a hardcopy to work from.

Delighted to have received my copy today - quite unexpected to get a Sunday delivery!  Looking forward to getting started :)

 

I ordered my copy on Friday and it was delivered 9.00am this morning, I too was surprised by the Sunday delivery, I thought it would be delivered by Royal Mail. Well Chuffed :D  :D  :D
