That's good to know! I was thinking of going the Lightroom route before I tested AP (which I most likely will purchase), so it'd be nice to have a DAM in the same family, so to speak.

I recently started exploring Affinity Photo to replace Adobe Creative Suite CS4 (I refuse to adopt to the software rental model). I was looking through the system requirements when I stumbled upon this little nugget: "Cannot be installed on [...] a volume with a case-sensitive file system". Adobe has the same restriction, but can someone please explain why this is so?

 

OS X is UNIX-based, and UNIX has always had case sensitive file systems. My feature request is to remove the inability to install own a case-sensitive file system. As a developer I know this will make the code simpler if only because you can eliminate the code the check the file system!
