If you really knew what is in a cheeseburger, you wouldn’t have posed your follow-up question! A cheeseburger is a meat burger with a slice of processed cheese (slightly melted) on top of the burger.

It went very well, Gary was not a particularly good Elvis impersonator, but he made up for that in spades as a good all round entertainer.   It was a sell out, just short of 100 guests, had to do a ticket re-run as I had only printed 75.  Food was great (Scampi-n-chips. Cheeseburger-n-chips and Chicken burger-n-chips). Everybody voted for him to be rebooked in September.  Thanks for asking @William Overington

    Hi @pioneer,
The setting essentially offloads certain tasks from the CPU onto the GPU, which normally results in a performance boost. It's primarily beneficial in raster based tasks and workflows, and I normally see the benefit when using Live filters. The help guide below gives a good general overview.

As far as I'm aware there isn't a need to make a specific program profile in the Nvidia 3D settings panel for the apps, let it just use the Global settings.

@walt.farrellFor which I apologise for. Its obviously down to my age I am afraid. Thank you for the advice.  Cheers John

As Bruce stated, this is the way it's supposed to work but it isn't ideal.
When you convert a path to Path Text in Publisher, the Path Text object inherits the path's fill and stroke which can be changed via the Text Frame panel. When you convert a path to Path Text in Designer or Photo, the Path Text object does not inherit the path's fill and stroke and they are lost. There is no way to change them in Designer or Photo. But you can edit them in Publisher. IMO, it would be better to fix the root issue and allow users to set fill and stroke for text frames and objects in Designer and Photo. But if this won't be done, then I think paths converted to Path Text should inherit the path's fill and stroke. If the user didn't want fill or stroke they could set them to none before conversion but it's frustrating to get it just the way you want it and then have it lost when you choose convert.

Thank you @David in Яuislip Very kind of you to take the time to look at this and post the files.  Most helpful. Thank you John. I had spent quite a lot of time putting the trunk on the legs from the two images it was just trying to get the tone of his face somewhere I wanted to best match the others.

It should be present in Photo so you can see that it's set and (optionally) turn it off (switch to one of the other options) if you're using Photo to work on a file containing objects that use the Textured Line Style function.
But it won't do anything, usually, in Photo as the Textured Line Style requires the vector brushes, which Photo doesn't provide.

I vaguely recall this has been discussed just recently.
The answer is yes. This is for compatibility with vector brushes that have been applied using Designer.
But the button likely should be hidden in Photo if there's no vector brush selected in the first place.

It’s only there on Windows but it shouldn’t be there at all as Photo can’t apply that style of Stroke as it relies on vector brushes.
See this recent thread (and others): https://forum.affinity.serif.com/index.php?/topic/199994-stroke-panel-texture-line-style-option-not-appearing/

Learning the Affinity Designer Tools, I wanted to draw up a quick Superman sketch and ink/color in Affinity Designer. Pretty straightforward, draw, scan, pen tool, and color.

This design was created using Affinity Designer and Photo. Ehh the color and quality loss after uploading is painful and have had similar results on Pinterest. Anyway, Batman the Ride is one of the greatest coasters ever and had visited Six Flags over Texas and Great America last fall. There was no cool merch for the ride anywhere, so wanted to try and create something to do the ride justice. I created the outline using the pen tool in Designer with some vector fills to block in certain areas. I then imported the file into Affinity Photo and started coloring and adding detail with various brushes. I've had good results with the Nathan Brown brush packs. Thanks to Affinity for creating this great program, I will never go back to Adobe again. I WAS NOT commissioned by DC or Six flags to create this art.

Ok Picture Quiz went live last night, 7 teams of 4/6 all thought the quiz presentation was different and pleasing on the eye.  Winning team scored 15. all other teams scored 9 or above, It was handed out at the start of the evening, handed in at end of the evening.  Only 4 teams got number 4.

I’m afraid I had to resort to a reverse image search for that one (James Coburn in Pat Garrett & Billy the Kid, for those wondering). A similar search for number 13 didn’t work until I tweaked the brightness and contrast to reveal James Blunt.
