Does your iMac have Thunderbolt 2 or Thunderbolt 3 ports?
Pretty sure: No.
My iMac is from 2011 when Apple implemented the first generation of Thunderbolt ports into MBP and iMac. Pretty much everything seems" better" with 2012 Macs (Metal-compability, TB2, e.g.).

Would be nice if at least points will snap to guides when in transform-mode like here:

Cheers

iMac has no HDMI port as a MBP has.

First I have to need the connection thing sorted. Neither XP-Pen nor Huion have iMac users on their radar.

Does this help ?
I´ve been through the faqs already. There´s no TypeC USB on my iMac afaik.

No really:
The smallest is 11,6" and 350€, the 13" is no longer available, the Pro16 not available right now and goes up to 425€, Pro 20 and Pro22 no longer available, Pro20(2019) 550€. 16" is good for me.

The XP-Pen Artist16Pro is now 280€ - beat me to it. But whatever brand I choose I have no clue how to connect to an iMac with no HDMI port.
-
I have a question that might goes in that particular direction.
I have 365 landscape photos (yes one per day) hand-shot from the same sight/angle I want to make a video from.
Because they are not 100% aligned can I use A-Photo to batch align them as a stack, crop and export individual shots from there?
Cheers

I have Mini Displayport to HDMI adapter, works fine with XP-Pen 22.
As the XP-Pens are on sale I´m close to get the Artist16Pro. But as I´m on an iMac only it has no HDMI-port.
So my guess a Mini Displayport to HDMI adapter won´t do it. The friendly Chat Bot from their site just say HDMI-to-USB adaptor - didn´t link to any brand. There are so many variations like 30Hz TypeC or 60Hz. I´m fairly lost. Anyone here uses XP-Pen Displays on iMac probably?

I guess it´s internally the same without one property.

As we don´t can expect the XML-code it will end as loop as soon we export to SVG.
Don´t saying Donut-tool isn´t cool - but it´s not a parametric circle tool.

But there is,it's called the donut tool
Nope - it will produce a loop when Hole radius is set to 100 and Convert to Curves.

Can you probably provide more detail on your Mac specs? I ask because all 3 apps are running just fine on my 2011 iMac (no Metal available of course.

I wished we had a circle tool that allows open/partially circles like almost any vector.apps have I can think of including good´ol Freehand.
All these "solutions" are just workarounds in my opinion.
If the user needs to export he will pretty much need to:
1. double yellow circle
2. select yellow+white circles
3. Expand stroke
4. Boolean subtract
5. use Node tool to select point from inner part - cmd+A to select all connected point - and Delete
6. select yellow circle and Expand Stroke

I for instance need black&white imagery for my stamp making process. I´m printing on a 1200dpi monochrome laser. I tend to forget to use only either K=100 or RGB=0,0,0. So just the slightest amount of CYM will rasterise and graphic elements get unsharp borders. Not sure how this relates to ink printer which I don´t use.

What color/mode is your font and what kind of printer are you talking of?

How is this? Completely conversion inside AD:

But did you really get in there to check the result
?
And did you read my post?

I can tell already by the file size that there´s something wrong with it.
BTW it´s almost 80k nodes. Just for the record.

Oh - and I'm getting tired of how long we've been put off regarding more robust svg output.

Unfortunately it doesn't work.
Would anyone know if Illustrator has a similar issue with varied line widths and their caps?
Mmmh - that is strange; I tested before suggesting.

The Selection Brush Tool will do a better job on this task
I just was trying to find the equivalent tool like in GIMP.
The Selection Brush tool should offer also the "Refine" button. Is it there?
