  1. Aside from adjusting the Size Variants: at the certain brush you need to enable a "Pressure profile" at the stroke dialog:
  2. I gues you´re talking about the Mac version, if so; make right-click on the toolbar to get access to the Customize Toolbar.. feature (macOS wide available) and edit accordingly. Cheers
  3. Nothing against auto-vectorizing and Inkscape is really good at it - BUT nothing beats manually traced vector graphics. If you´re not in a hurry it´s time to learn some basic vector drawing skills you can profit on future projects. Affinity team and users have a lengthy list of video tutorials for beginners&starters in the forum section. Cheers
  4. Yes - drag the transform thingy to the mirror axis - cmd+J - flip horizontally - move over till transform point meet mirror plane - no big deal. I wonder why not at least the 9-point-set at the transform panel have any effect either.
  5. While you need to constraint the anchor point horizontally to the guide snapping with shift key - still hold shift key down - then transform.
  6. Actually you don´t need to switch tools; just click&drag till the size gets highlighted:
  7. You´re funny aren´t you? This is even in AD too much effort for such simple cut - and just owed by missing a basic knife tool. Actually it´s. 1. Draw your shape 2. add a straight line as cutting guide 3. Snapping set to: Align to nodes of selected curves (1. icon) 4. when shape selected follow curve with node-tool till it become highlighted at the "crossing"; click and second click on the other side 5. select both new points - then it´s just "break curve" followed by 6. "Close Curve" - done - phew!
  8. Pretty sure it´s an image layer. Rasterise before proceed. Another one fallen into this trap I guess. Cheers
  9. I don´t have Word. The shown output is questionable me thinks. White border way too large: Cheers
  10. Did you ever draw something in a vector.app? I dare not say how trivial that is: Oh and your signboards are shearing: Cheers
  11. Draw in front view - than click "Fit to Plane" and if needed do "Edit in Plane". Cheers
  12. Enable Snapping, drag point to point, click Add=1 curve BUT whatever you do you will have 2 overlapping points at the closings:
