  1. Similar how to you can currently disable a layer mask by "Shift + click" or "right click" -> "hide" So "Shift + click" on "fx" toggles the layer style on/off.
  2. I know it's a well know issue and you've promised to look at it but the bug has been there since day one: Any timeline on when expand stroke will work?
  3. How it's currently "working": Have multiple tabs open -> view tab A -> view tab B -> close tab B => you are now viewing tab X How it could (should) work: Have multiple tabs open -> view tab A -> view tab B -> close tab B => you are now viewing tab A again
  4. Tried all sorts of things but none helped so had to quit and loose all my edits - (they were slices so didn't win anything by exporting which worked). It works after reopening the program. Please focus on stability and less on features.
  5. Hmm...I'm only using beta because app store is also buggy but this release won't even let me save...
  6. Am I missing something or is there really no way to convert linked slices to unlinked?
  7. Not sure if this is beta only but: Open/create file -> make some edits -> "forget" to save -> cmd + w -> ask if you want to save the changes -> "yes" -> file is saved but window is still open. If it's intentional then I'd highly suggest you change it - all other programs I've tried does "save + close window" when you click "yes".
  8. Great, what about the file size - looks huge to me. The image used was originally 4-5mb and that combined with some text and layer effects shouldn't result in a +100mb file?
  9. https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/3019777/gidolesquare.afdesign it's also ridiculously huge EDIT: And the colors are all sorts of wrong when I try to open it in the normal version. So currently I have to save as psd, open in photoshop, export png to get usable files. Affinity is really testing my patience as of late - glad to see #25 and hope you get things sorted soon so we can have a more stable and reliable product.
  10. Glitch in PNG export - never seen it in other versions. Also PNG export seems to be slower/more resource demanding (CPU). EDIT: The same glitch appears when zooming in/out.
  11. The graphics solution proposed seams like an unnecessary workaround to just using embeddable graphics with duplicates. Only problem is embeddable graphics only works with raster witch limits it's usability so this would have to be fixed. Another feature I'd love is the ability to export to folders. The way Xcode and other platforms handles localised images is the create e.g. en.lproj image.png da.lproj image.png So the folder names are different but the images have the same file names. Currently you have to export e.g. image-en.png image-da.png add to folders and batch rename
  12. They way FontForge does it is by converting them to "normal" points when you rotate unless rotation is +=90(n) An alternate solution could be to make horizontal/vertical fixed standard and then only allow other angles with modifier pressed. The shift solution works great for "new" points but if you already have a point with handles then getting them "perfect" requires you to delete the handles first.
  13. Similar to curve point handles can only extend horizontally or vertically. When drawing logos, icons, UI, type etc the wast majority of curve points are like this and having the point type makes drawing a lot faster + more precise. Screenshot is from FontForge (notice the difference between round and diamond shaped dots)
  14. Facebook (cover), Behance (cover + images), Dribble and others Add "social media" as a category similar to "web" "devices" etc.
  15. Slice tool export has another even bigger bug - slices get twice as big as they were, so I'm having to shrink them after each cycle of: Only thing I've done is save + close, work in another document, reopen the sliced document, adjusting some colors -> export persona.
