Affinity's constraints feature is great, but limited. I just stumbled upon something that would make our lives so much better:

EDIT: I just played around a bit and (although working with Illustrator again is a real pain when you are used to Affinity Designer) the principle of "Bloks" is pretty awesome. Unpolished and incomplete but awesome. 
 
 

Well I just ran into the situtation where I needed this too.

I often am in the situation where I have to completely ungroup a constraints group. The problem is, when I create a constraints group of the items again the group disappears. This is because the layers still have constraints properties applied which I have to set back to default.
 
So it would be perfect to have an option to remove all constraints properties of one or more selected layers.

By default it's located below the Node Tool. See screenshot below for reference.

If Affinity Designer would have it's own Viewer App or Service for measuring sizes and distances and copying CSS properties, we wouldn't have to rely on PSD exports anymore. My workflow is like: Designer (Illustrator until I switched) >> PSD Export >> Avocode / Zeplin. 
 
It would be so much better if it was Affinity Designer >> Affinity Viewer.

Hi,
 
I just encountered a problem when applying styles to different objects. For example: I set an outer shadow 50% opacity, 10px radius, 10px offset, then I create a new style from this selection.
 
When I apply that style to another layer the 50% opacity stays the same (as expected) but the values for radius and offset have changed.

Well, for UI Design I would expect the values to stay the same. If a button has a 3px shadow there's no reason the shadow should be bigger on a wider button. It should be the default setting, but there maybe should be a checkbox somewhere.  ;)

Thanks but unfortunately it's still not fixed in the latest beta. I'd really appreciate if this would be fixed soon. Working with artboards and grids is very hard when snapping doesn't work.

Don't know if I reported this earlier but when resizing an artboard it doesn't snap to grid as it did before. Hope it'll be fixed

Expand stroke is available in DEsigner, is that what you are refering to? Also, it needs to be improved sin with smalls sizes, the resultas are less than acceptable.

A shape builder tool would be very helpful, didn't know how much I needed it before I switched to AD. ^^

I have the same problem when moving different objects.
The problem does not occur with Affinity Photo and Affinity Publisher.

Hello,

I just bought Affinity Designer and Photo because I remember trying them before and really liking them. To my surprise Affinity Designer's performance is no way as good as I remember it (I tried ~v1.5). Toying with the app, I found the following:

1.- The selection tool is smooth and responsive as long as I have no previous selection active, if I do, it is very laggy.
2.- Vectors have very bad performance compared to pixels (both in Designer and Pixel personas).
3.- Pixel persona have a little better response than Designer persona (both for vectors and pixels).

Now the interesting part...
4.- If I put each vector inside a group, the performance gets much much better.

I'll attach a video in case someone wants to see if this behaviour happens to them aswell.
