  1. Something's not right here ^^ Bildschirmaufnahme 2023-02-15 um 20.23.37.mov
  2. Please have a look at that issue. It REALLY sucks to be unable to select things properly. Heres an example. Thanks
  3. It seems that there has been a change with selection in general. I can't drag select layers from outside of an artboard. Instead I have to select one layer inside an artboard to be able to drag select others inside that artboard. Is this a bug or a feature? I really think it should be reverted.
  4. Indeed, it's working perfeclty, thanks! Great experience!
  5. Hi there, I'm about to receive my new iPad Mini 5 which now supports the Apple Pencil 1st Gen. I remember a post where it was said that iPad Mini Support will not be added because of the small interface. Well, with the Apple Pencil this should be no problem, nor should be the performance (A12 Bionic). So I would like to encourage you to consider adding iPad Mini 5 support for Affinity Designer and Photo. Thanks in advance!
  6. Right, I'm using a bluetooth mouse to zoom via click+space. It's a workaround and I don't draw too often. But I agree pen mode should be implemented.
  7. +1 for this. I keep disabling the touch panel just for using Affinity Designer with my Surface Pen ^^
  8. Awesome to see this great piece of software becoming reality! Will there be other color profiles in the future? Like FOGRA51, FOGRA52 or Euroscale? Thanks!
  9. Totally agree. Even better if bleed could be defined in the new files dialogue.
  10. Expanding strokes is very important, especially when converting icons. So PLEASE fix this.
  11. I don't know, but I use my Galaxy Tab S3 mainly for making notes and doing wireframes / scribbles for my screendesign work. I'd NEVER design on my tablet, that's what my workstation is for! It's not very productive to work on a tablet. But that's a general issue. Why would I spend 2 hours fiddling with a tablet if I could do the same work (better) on my workstation in just 15 minutes? Just because it's cool? I don't agree.
  12. Just stumbled upon the same problem. I printed a OneNote note to pdf with Microsofts PDF Printer and tried to open the PDF in Affinity. When I open the PDF in Illustrator it displays the text correctly but is still missing those PostScript CIDFont+F1 fonts.
  13. Bummer. Will it be ported to Windows? Or are you planning to bring that iPad behaviour to the desktop versions?
  14. I don't think so ^^ Please move it to feature request then, sorry
  15. It just looks cheap. Consider removing it from the dark themetoo
  16. Awesome Thank you! BTW: This rectangle in the text element is an icon font entity. It is rendered correctly when you have the font installed. <text id="_2" data-name="" class="cls-11" transform="translate(1115 129)"><tspan x="0" y="0"></tspan></text>
  17. Thanks very much! Hope you have the time to have a look
  18. I recently switched to Adobe X D for my screendesign work but still use Affinity Designer for all kinds of stuff. Now my problem is, that opening an SVG file that I exported from Adobe X D is broken. I tried to open the same file in Inkscape and it renders perfectly. The used icon font is showed as Arial too, although it's installed. Can I send you the file somehow? (I can't make it public). Thanks in advance!!
  19. I'd really love to get some feedback on this. I just tried to copy a rounded rectangle from Figma to Adobe X'D and it preserves the editability of the rounded corners. Would love to export SVGs from Affinity Designer too. Also multi-line text areas get split into lines and shadows aren't exported the way I can edit them afterwards. Thanks in advance!
  20. Honestly, compare it to the Creative Suite prices and you will see that it's not expensive, not at all, even if you buy all 4 licenses...
