Let's say, I create a rectangled polygon with 6 points (0.png).
Then I select the object (1.png).
Then I rotate the object around 45 degrees (2.png)
Then I transform (=shift) 2 of the 6 points of the object (3.png)
If I select the object now, I still got a rotated bounding box (4.png), while under Serif Draw X8 editing a point of the object lead to a recalculation of the bounding box with no rotation.
The size of this rotated bounding box is used when I orientate the object at another object. And it it is used, when I export the vector-object as an image.
This ist not, what I want.
What I want is a bounding box like the red one (5.png).
Just like the bounding box would be, if I would have created the object in its final shape right from the start without the intermediate states to a rotation
(6.png).
Is there a way, to reset the bounding box ? I studied the manual and tried several things, but nothing seems to reset the bounding box to it's non-rotated state.
