  1. @Boneyard As @walt.farrellasked earlier, any chance you could attach one of the problem PSD files here for others to test whether they also see the problem and/or might have other ideas to offer?
  2. @Boneyard From your screenshot I see you are in Canada, my apologies! I know the US$ price is lower.
  3. @Boneyard Assuming you purchased only Affinity Photo then I'm honestly not sure how/why you paid $80.
  4. @SFurniss According to her post @Janet Sim has purchased an air ticket. I have a feeling, therefore, that is not a Serif Affinity issue! 😇
  5. @Charlene Blackman I can't directly help with your issue but, since this is a public forum, you should consider either removing the screenshot you posted or, at the least, obscure your email address. To not do either of these is to risk your email address being harvested by Spambots, with a risk of a rise in you receiving Spam!
  6. @ellycolor Thanks. But is there a particular reason you are still running an "old" version of the software?
  7. @Pšenda Possibly, or possibly not! It rather depends, I think, on when the "switching off" actually took place. I think we need @ellycolor to tell us. Also perhaps, why he/she has NOT updated.
  8. @ellycolor Given that the latest release is 1.10.5 (and hence you are some builds behind) is surely a reason to NOT ALWAYS disconnect from the internet to use the Affinity apps! Or, is there a reason why you have not updated to the latest release, assuming you were aware one exists?
  9. @v1ncent As @StevenS explained there is nothing Serif can do to help you with this problem. Apple and Serif share no customer data at all so Serif have no record of your purchase. You need to go back to Apple Support and explain to them that this is a problem only they can resolve. Your refund and replacement product order can only be initiated by them. Don't allow them to fob you off by saying that only Serif can help you!
  10. Assuming you literally mean this was being saved to your computer Desktop, this is another "area" of a computer to which saving a file is NOT recommended! It is not at all unusual for Windows to "make changes" to your Desktop and so any file saved there can be corrupted or even lost totally. Far better to save to a specific, designated folder on your hard drive. (Even better if you have multiple hard drives because then you can choose to save to one which is not your OS drive which is most commonly C:\.)
  11. @PaulaABQ Welcome to the Affinity forums. You need to download the installer to your new MAC from whichever store you originally purchased it, presumably, from what you write, the MAC AppStore. You need to ensure you are logging into the store with the same credentials as you used when you made the original purchase. If you are sure you are logging in with the same details but the app shows as you need to buy it, you will need to follow this up with the AppStore support team. Because Apple and Serif share no data on customers Serif has no record of your purchase and so cannot offer any help to you.
  12. @Wolfgang Schwaiger Although I am not a MAC user I understand your App Store account (and purchases) is linked to the email address you used when you originally purchased the apps. You say you made the purchases with a different email address. You need to log into the App Store using that email address, or, if you cannot do that you need to ask Apple Support how you can combine the old and new store accounts into one. Serif and Apple share NO customer data so no-one at Serif can help you with this problem, I think.
  13. @smolny82 Which versions of the apps do you currently have installed and what OS are you running (Mac or Windows)?
  14. @Tamaleus Check under Preferences>User interface, "Monochromatic Iconography". I suspect you need to untick it. HTH
  15. @Lee D Thanks for the latest message, but I'm not the OP! I have Designer and Photo on both desktop and iPad and I suppose, a) I didn't read the OP's post carefully enough, and b) I don't know how to draw a straight line (as per the OP's request) on the iPad.
  16. @Hachmi Welcome to the Affinity forums. Where exactly was your work saved before you uninstalled the app? By default, I believe, the save location is within the iPad's sandbox; you have to specifically select a different location if you wish to ensure your work is not removed in the event that you need to uninstall and reinstall the app. In other words, in your situation, if you did not save your work outside the sandbox I'm pretty certain it is not retrievable, sorry. If I am wrong about this I am sure someone else will give you the right answer.
  17. @Lee D Hi Lee I may be completely missing something here, but where is the Shift key on an iPad? Jeff
  18. @jolson42o Welcome to the Affinity forums. The licence is permanently linked to the email address given by the purchaser at the time of original purchase, so I think that what you are asking is not possible, sorry.
  19. @Fritz Schwarz @Komatös I don't think Serif can offer a refund in this case. The iPad version has to be purchased from the iPad store so only Apple can issue a refund, I think.
  20. @michaelyounglondon Welcome to the Affinity forums. What OS do you run and, assuming you downloaded the free trial from the Serif store, where did you purchase your product key?
  21. @Tiamariacat Welcome to the Affinity forums. Which OS do you have and where did you originally purchase the app(s), direct from Serif or from the App Store appropriate for your OS? Depending on your answers to these questions we can then advise you further. But, as a general point you do not need to remove the app(s) from your old computer in order to be able to download, install and use it/them on your new. Which of the apps do you actually have?
  22. @Faisal Bahari Welcome to the Serif Affinity forums. Sine at least two of the images you have posted include your personal email address can I strongly suggest that you remove them or at least obscure your address as a matter of urgency so that Spambots cannot harvest your email and potentially deluge you with spam. If you are not receiving the email to allow you to reset your password I think you need to email affinity@serif.com and request their assistance.
  23. @itsvivekdesign As I understand this, I don't think that the developers can bring in what you are wanting because there are features within PSD Smart Objects that are proprietary to Photoshop, i.e., they are "locked" to that app. I suspect that, if they could do what you are asking, the developers might have done so already. Of course, I may be totally wrong about this!
  24. @Black Diosa As @Alfred says, the MS Store version does not need a product key! However, since you say you have the program installed but apparently cannot run it, I wonder whether you have actually installed the Trial version from the Serif/Affinity website but later bought it in the Microsoft store? If so, you need to uninstall the version you currently have and then download and install the version in your Microsoft Store account, as @Alfred details above.
