Hi guys,
Can somebody let me know how much it would cost for a universal licence so that I can get all the V2 apps downloaded and installed on my new Macbook & Ipad.
I've got Photo/Publisher/Designer installed on my desktop PC and I've been a Serif/Affinity customer for many many years and was even part of the beta testing team way back in the Serif days
Many thanks in advance for any help or pointers regarding the above and hope as an existing customer, there is some form of discount available as with now being fully retired, I find the £160 advertised just a little too expensive for my pension budget

Underlying problem was already mentioned in the initial post (watermark ghosted and not being applied to the image) but choosing the correct tool to use a watermark with (paint brush) does help 🤭🤫

Hi Guys/Gals,
Not sure what I've done accidentally or by mistake but since this morning, I can no longer drag onto an image, any of the 6 watermarks I have made and been using for the last 12 months. Obviously due to a new year, I created a few more today with the correct date added but when dragging them onto the page as previously done with the others, they will no longer show and just seem to be ghosted out once dragged to the page, I thought it maybe something to do with the new images I've created but none of the old ones will show either, any ideas of why they should suddenly not work ???
Any help much appreciated as I've tried everything I can think of.

Same here, no prompt to update when starting any of the Photo/Publisher/Designer software, can access the download sections from my account but with purchasing from Affinity, why does it not prompt to update like it used to do ??????

Thanks for the tip walt.farrell and exactly what I did as I've done stupid things in the past so its now become the norm to duplicate almost every I change 😄 👍

Hi Folks, This maybe a newbie question but having taken up the art of colouring old black & white pictures, I'm looking for an easy way to combine colours in a single brush or give me a multiple blend of variations of the same colour chosen. For instance, I'm really struggling when coloring bricks on buildings as I need variations of red in the brick work, when I choose a small splatter brush and try and do 2 passes with 2 different colours, it just doesnt look right. Is there any easy option by using some other form of custom brushes or technics, any help would be very much appreciated. TIA guys & gals 👍

Hi Gang,
Just a query with regards to font usage in Affinity Photo, is it possible to create a favourite list from recently used fonts as I often add a signature to photo's I am revamping and continuously have to scroll through all the fonts to find my favourite, I know I could create an image watermark but often the place on the pictures background wouldn't be appropriate colour wise for a set coloured watermark. In the old Legacy range software, recently used fonts would appear at the top of the list and saves endless searching and scrolling. If this isn't possible, could it passed on as a useful suggestion ?

I have sorted it Dan thanks but had to add the .exe after the file download, very strange, not had this before and can't give you the link as the software doesn't pop the auto update download any longer with updating the software. I'll see what happens on the next update, thanks

Are there issues with the link provided within the software to download the 1.8 update, on selecting to download, the page tells me the file is 515.71mb yet when selecting to download, I get a file without an extension attribute of 491mb from cloudfront - am I missing something here ?

EDITED: Sorted by adding .exe at the end of the file name

Hi Guys,
Not sure what has gone on to be honest, but after updating to 1.7 of Affinity Photo (I may have inadvertently clicked something) my studio tabs are not showing exactly how I had them prior.
Under the layers tab, the navigator box was also viewable, enabling me to click any layer and also adjust the zoom function within the same tab, I now find I have to click tab titles to toggle in between both layers and navigator, is this by design due to the latest update or can I reset somewhere to enable my default viewing options.

I know this will sound rather basic but I'm struggling a little here to cut an element out of an image and exporting out as a png file for transparency purposes.
Here is my scenario, I have an image of 2000px x 1000px and I'm virtually trying to remove part of the image in the centre of it to then import as a layered object on another back ground, however, once the object has the marquee around it and I add a layer mask to give me a transparent background and then export, the cut out is there with a transparent background but still at the same dimensions, I just need what I'm cutting out to be the overall size of the image being cut when I export it, to then be used in other projects at later dates. Does anyone know a quick or easy way of achieving this to save me searching through all the video tutorials to find what I'm look for.

Once you've opened the image, you'll have another tab above the work window, one for the A3 document the other containing the image, select the image tab and press CTRL+C to copy, go back to the A3 tab and press CTRL+V to paste.

I created a new document using the default A3 size, I then opened the image I wanted, copied the image to the clipboard and then went back to the A3 and pasted, I then dragged out the corner handle so the image kept its aspect ratio to fit the width of the A3

Hi all,
I've managed to find the keyboard short cut cheat sheets (PDF's) for a MAC keyboard (and very good I have to say) but I can't find alternative PDF's or other formats for a Windows keyboard, has anybody created these and if so, can somebody point me in the right direction to obtain them, so that I can work a little easier within Affinity Photo & Designer
