I guess what's the point of adjusting after the fact? -
Hey guys! Im setting up my document for wallpaper creation - (sidenote) I think we need all apple devices in, not just mobile. It would be nice to have iMac 5K, iMac 4K, 15" MBP Retina as options and iPad Pro 9.7 Anyways. When I did Device>iPad Pro>Insert Artboard - It gave a resolution higher than 5K Same goes for iPhone 6 Plus, 6, and 5 It would be nice to get the exact resolution that the website details. Is this a bug, or is there a reason Im not figuring out?

I use the character keys to quickly get to fonts. Let's say I have 10 Line design fonts, and I select Line 1; I don't like it, so I then select the fonts in the menu and start typing Line 2, It only takes me to the Line 1 in recent.... then it's be scrolling for days to get back to Line 2. If I've used an S font earlier that day, if I start typing, it Is there a way to click on the character and get back to the last font we just used so I could potentially just select from another one of the 10. thanks

I figured I would ask here to make sure someone else can search to find an updated answer. I don't care to see the brush pattern, most of my brushes I just click as a stamp. I have about 300 bruise. Any way to see them like PS and also change between Small and Large. thanks

We get dartboards in Photo as well? No - I've got all the slices set up the way we last discussed. Everything has been fine, besides those few slice exports

That's fine is there a way of quickly hiding all the layers like PS (CMD+CLICK & DRAG DOWN or UP)?

So I am exporting my magazine. I've got a couple pages that don't export layers. 2 pages is just a single image layer. Another page is background image, and then 2 small rectangle images with strokes. The two small images export, background is white.... Another page is just again a single image, and just exports White.. Need to get this done like ASAP. Any help would rock

I make making 44 graphics and need to be able to get them all into one document would be rad. I know we are able to do it Photoshop, but can't seem to Search to find an answer. thanks

Actually of slices did snap to guides and just exerted what was underneath as a "snapshot" instead of having to be folderized that yes- Sort of like Designer, when exporting you just drag slices and export. (from what Ive seen with Youtube tutorial. Anyways. I think it took me about 1 min to chop up a full page spread. Not bad. Im excited to continue to dive into this more :)

I'll show you what my file structure ended up looking like - I normally group pages, so that's nothing out of the normal. Sometimes I entire multiple page spreads, sometimes 8 pages, this helps finding and editing the next issue.

Yea Im familiar with those photoshop shortcuts. My issue isn't the process but rather feature that should be included. Knowing shortcuts isn't NEARLY effective as a missing basic feature... Im not even mad, Im frustrated, That being said I know they are looking at it. But reality is, even with a copy paste of the rectangle (which I didn't think about since I was beyond frustrated with the lack) the grouping and cutting up a full page spread sucked frog! Thanks for the reply. Cant wait till they update - we are into this since beta, but walked away and now back and wouldnt have mind paying $199 for this. Totally in my opinion on Par and in a lot of ways better than my $2,700+ Master Adobe Collection lol

Dude this took my 2 hours to have to create folders for each page, (even if it's only a single image) then I had to create 62 stupid black rectangles. Putting them in each group, and then selecting the Snapping Manager, making sure the Snap to Guide (which doesn't work without going through this huge headache) But make sure it's selected.... This is frustrating as crap! (Super small button under the layers) Like why would I be looking there for a Auto Layer button..... when Im trying to find a tool.. should be a menu option..or Tool. That being said -In this I have an image covering 2 pages.....Because of this I have to now marque the image CUT it, and then create separate groups.... I'm tired already thinking about having to re-do all this........ Such a simple thing has turned my entire night to doing this... :( [EDIT] We need Slices to Snap to Guides (as per the manager) I will say the exporting was pretty fast for a 62 page 300dpi Magazine :) Now I need to create another one..... luckily this one is only like 30 Pages

It would only take 1 hour to get all this done. I don't see why they just don't't do it :) (by hour I meant using 3 mins created 3 new Categories, and then 50mins doing a step wide moderator search for threads and move them :)

Can we have separate forums for each product? As searching is a mix of keywords that draw from both and also the page count is getting high really high. And I'm trying to find Photo stuff but have to wade through all the Designer posts..lol

So which App should I use for creating this magazine (I already created one in PS). I feel like there is such a different stroke here. Photoshop is a multi-tool - Exporting into PS to alter an image (liquify) and then save back into Lightroom, creating magazine ads, news paper ads, website graphics, emailer design, and I usually only use Illustrator for logo design. Im a blank canvas, I need to know who to utilize each program what exactly what I do. That seems really elementary to have a slice magnetic, I really hope this is in a near update. That would suck to have to create 30+ squares just to get slices. (from what it sounds like you are saying).
