  1. Hi Anemos,

    https://www.educba.com/svg-vs-eps/

SVG does not work properly for professional printing and it only contains vector information. CMYK ist not available, also. EPS still is the standard for printing (beside PDF) and can contain vector and pixel information. EPS can be RGB and CMYK plus Spot-Colours.

That's similar to the first cars I did. I've fancied trying to doing some of the BMW art cars especially the Warhol M1 and the Alexander Caldera 3.0 CSL  but not got around them yet although I do need a new project.

Due to corona, I found the time to do this as an exercise. It raised my skills and is much fun, too. Next will be an F40! Someday I might reach your mastership! :)

I believe that Serif staff have confirmed that the Affinity products assume that any printer wants RGB data, so if you have a CMYK file and Print it from Affinity it will be converted to RGB data before sending to the printer driver, and the printer driver will then have to reconvert it to CMYK (or whatever inkset the printer actually uses).

If so, that may affect your suggested workaround.

I see Serifs points in that, but:  I'm a graphic designer for about 20 years and until now, none of my printers wanted RGB Data.

    Both are excellent, @buschbrand

Hawaiian shirts are growing on me now that many modern designs are so sterile and minimalistic. I find nature and cultures inspired by it much more appealing than generation iPad, flat design and homes without traces of who lives there.

I would certainly buy on of your shirts.

    Cheers

    Thank you very much, Jowday,

I tried to find a good balance between naturalism and a reduced style. But I'd like to make the look a bit more artsy … maybe in a blockprint-style. For me it's just the starting point – I really love patterns in general, so let's see, where it takes me.
