  1. That makes sense! Now I just have to wrap my head about it using the (new for me) application :)
  2. Absolutely. I'm making a map for my novel and I wanted to liven it up by having a more realistic coastline and wanted to "roughen up" the shapes of the land masses:
  3. Is there a tool or method to add noise or geometry to a path for jagged edges for coastlines, etc for map making? Thanks!
  4. Is there any way to export only the current view or a selection? It's save a lot of time and memory rather than exporting to a huge PNG and cropping in another program. I'm attempting to create a map for a fictional world, and I'd like to print and export a specific detail of a map instead of export or print out the map in its entirety.
  5. I'd like to chime in and add my request for a roughen tool as I've decided to attempt to do some fictional atlas style maps. Inkscape on the Mac is a bear to use with X11's non-Mac way of doing things.
