  1. My goal was the to automate the workflow of this video from Robin Whalley But this was not possible with the On-board resources of AP.
  2. I tried a few macros Walt mentioned in the link. But nothing worked. I have my macro overworked but without the option " maintain ratio " it will not work. So I gave up .... This comes near but it was not possible to set to a pixel size only percent ...
  3. Thanks @walt.farrell, I will study the link you have replied. All the other steps are working in my makro, except resizing.
  4. My Macro should do the following: - flatten - resize document - convert format/ ICC profile - duplicate I recorded it successfully, all steps are working except the second step "resize document", simply do nothing. I have entered the new high of 2160 pixel. Why is resize a problem? Or what I'm doing wrong?
  5. Despite all the advantages of Canvas in the future, I would like to temper expectations somewhat. Firstly, you need more developers (which are in short supply) to satisfy the pent-up wishes of customers, so I don't expect a fundamental breakthrough with 2.5 and secondly, software development also takes time. Ergo, we won't see any major effects until v3.0, and if that comes with a subscription, at least I don't mind. Just my two cents
  6. With all the hype surrounding Canva's acquisition, let's not forget it's Easter. Have a great Easter. Made with Affinity Photo, assets from @v_kyr.
  7. I'm not annoyed but quite sad about how things have turned out. There was once hope for an LR clone and AI supported image processing as well as a first class raw converter. I'll probably be able to forget that after the latest developments ... But of course a good day for the employees at Serif, their jobs have certainly become more secure.
  8. As far as I know you have to rasterize and trim the layer before.
  9. Using various filter and layer to make a color sketch from a picture in Affinity Photo.
  10. Made with Affinity photo, using the filter "Detect Edges" and framework from Daub Papers "Single Paper" .
  11. but a nice photo in springtime, isnt it ? Developed in Develop persona and than processed in Photo persona ( Contrast, Saturation in LAB, sharping with highpass filter, Vignette with Curves in LAB)
  12. It doesn’t work in MacOS. Ask skylum for Support because Serif can’t provide a plugin for a program that is from another company.
  13. I like the "Displace-Filter" very much, have it used for painterly effects like this.
  14. Today a different slogan, a different texture and a different font. I tried to imitate an old typewriter.
  15. Can you show us an example in both variants? I can't judge the importance of the variable font feature.
  16. The font was Unique Regular.
  17. If a screw is loose, life has a bit of play. Playing with paper strukture and dissolve filter ... Paper from Pixabay
  18. @Dan C, I testet it also without changing the curve and the preset name is not displayed the second time.
  19. When I create a live brightness range mask, I can select which preset I want to use. So far it works fine, but when I close it and open it a second time, only the curve is displayed and the name of the preset, i.e. Highlights, Midtones or Shadows, is no longer shown. I think the error is not necessarily new in V2.4 of Affinity Photo. In addition, the opacity is set to 1% when a preset is selected. Attached screenshot Bildschirmaufnahme 2024-03-05 um 18.25.26.mov
  20. With Affinity Photo created, Soft Sketch Macro from James Ritson, Daub paper as Drawing paper
  21. Complete made with Affinity Photo 2.3.1, textures from Affinity(D.Wuestenhagen packet) and texturelabs. My own photo served as the basis, the processing was to go in a painterly, impressionistic direction.
