I have cleared and reapplied the master pages for the final four pages in your document. Seems to work. Olympischer bruce.afpub

I am thinking it is how you have the Running Headers (perhaps this is the "Kolumnentitel"?) on Master Pages. I would make a Master Page for the bulk of the text and one for the start of a chapter. I would have the all the text frames named with descriptive names, left Text, Right page number etc. Have the same names for the same things on the two Master Pages. The Naming will help with applying the Master pages and keeping the text flowing properly.

If you could isolate the problem part in a new, smaller file that would be good. Say the second chapter and the start of the third chapter.
-
Now I need to know what the various bits of text in the headers are. Is "Dritter Gesang" and "Hebe" in a text file that is placed into the document? Or are those Section names? Where you have "Vierter Gesang" is there any indication of the text frame having overflowing Text? A simple Publisher file would go a long way to helping us help you.

Designer imports EPS as IMAGES, Illustrator doesn't
Old Bruce replied to thegary's topic in V2 Bugs found on Windows
Forget about complaining to Adobe, complain to the stock image sites. If I was using stock images "all the time" and there was a problem with the eps files not opening because they only open in Illustrator, I would ask for the money back from the stock image site. -

May be I am missing something but that stroke is wider than the set 50.3 points. If you care to measure it is is thicker. If you perform a Boolean Add on it it is fine for export and it is the 50.3 points thick.

Problem scanning in color
Old Bruce replied to MayL's topic in Affinity on Desktop Questions (macOS and Windows)
I could be wrong here as I do not have that model Canon scanner. But... I doubt that there would be any advantage other than ease of access to the scanner from within Affinity Photo. Meaning there wouldn't be any "better colours" or a "more pure image" compared to scanning to a 16 bit per channel TIFF or accessing the scanner from within Photo. Your desire to use Affinity Photo for image correction would be the same whether the image is scanned from within Photo or from the Canon driver software and Apple's Image Capture and saved as a 16 bit TIFF. -
The thing at the top is the zoomed percentage. It is zoomed to show the entire image in your computer's window. Your camera can save files as raw, TIFF, or JPEG. As well as combinations of raw and JPEG. You have DX and FX sizes of Large, Medium and Small so 6 different sizes. I think you have set your camera up to take FX Large size images and are saving them to the card as TIFF format, not raw.

"Corrupted" text frames
Old Bruce replied to HeadStart's topic in Affinity on Desktop Questions (macOS and Windows)
Could be that you have a huge offset for the Text Frame. If you could make a small document with a copied and pasted "bad" text frame then we could narrow it down from what may be wrong to what is wrong. -
AD/AP/AP version 1

Are you on Windows or Mac? Did you purchase version 1 from Serif or the Mac App Store (or the Windows version of the MAS)? -
Publisher changing from 2 page spread to one makes a mess
Old Bruce replied to KarinC's topic in V2 Bugs found on Windows
Don't change to a single page spread, just export to PDF and choose All Pages from the Area in the Export Dialog instead of All Spreads. Then print the PDF from whatever PDF viewer you use. -

Here is one way of doing it. More stripes means more copies of the strokes Roads.afdesign -
This really sounds like you are using Image layers, not Pixel layers. Are you importing TIFFs or JPEGs or raw files? Note the difference in the little icons in the layers If you really want to use the "registration" method try lowering the opacity, not deleting the edges. Then increase the opacity back up to 100%. Or use a different Blend Mode for the layers.
