  1. "This issue" is caused by extremely tiny objects (2 x 3 pixels in size) having a stroke with corners curved by the Corner tool. And then being rotated and sheered. Having said that I too think you may be better served using Symbols instead of copy and paste.
  2. Finally found your problem object. It is about 3 x 2 pixels in size. You also have used the corner tool on some of the nodes. In my opinion this ridiculously tiny size is a major part of the problem. General area to look at:
  3. I just want to add some unasked for advice. Please get in the habit of not using JPEGs for printed work. There will come a time when you export a JPEG and it will have jpeg compression artifacts. Use TIFF, yes the files will be bigger but no jpeg compression artifacts.
  4. I can only guess that there is a fill of some sort applied to the Picutre Frames. Try replacing one with a new, no stroke no fill applied Picture Frame.
  5. I see this if I have changed the Slice name (of the slice made from a layer) in the Export Persona, that Export Persona name will stick. I would think this is working by design, on purpose. I will just delete the slice and make it again and the name from the Layer in the Designer Persona will then work.
  6. If you want to apply one Paragraph Style to the entire document then place your text cursor somewhere in the text and use Select > Select All. Then you can apply the one Paragraph Style to all the text.
  7. Edit that Paragraph Style and add the Paragraph Decorations. Or just use the Paragraph Panel if it is one instance you want to add the lines to. Do not change the Paragraph's Text Style, just Edit it or Override it for the one instance.
  8. You will need to resize the Canvas in Photo and Designer. An 8 x 10 inch PDF with printer's marks is going to be larger than the 8 inches by 10 inches that is shown when opening in Photo and Designer. In Photo go to Document > Resize Canvas... and in Designer use the Artboard Tool to drag an artboard so it is larger than the open 8 x 10 file.
  9. I don't know why we cannot access the font collections from Font Book in the Context toolbar but we can access then in the Text Styles and Character Panels. Font Book Collections Character Panel
  10. I would bite the bullet and just make a Publisher Document with Sunday Starts Monthly (include blank pages for the Monday Starts Weekly information) Then I would generate the Monthly and add the Weekly Datamerge and generate that. Or I would make one massive Spreadsheet with both sets of information. I have to admit that my head hurts trying to visualize the result, and trying to use such a planner.
  11. @Karen_, each row is a record. You are having them in columns. Here is how I would do it. Note that I have some Blank rows in the CSV Spreadsheet, this is to isolate the Wedding Table. After you generate the file you will have to go in and delete the empty text frames and move the head table to the centre as per your first screenshot. Seating chart etc.zip
  12. I think your spreadsheet is sideways. It looks like this and it should look like this (please excuse the autofill names, these are not real people)
  13. I kept the downloads in my Documents folder. I will also admit that I find the fonts to be a bit twee... that is perhaps a wrong word. Regardless I doubt I will ever use them, not just because of their rather limited use due to the licensing agreement.
  14. One: yes. Or when you make a new Actual Page you can have the Master Page applied automatically. Two: In the Pages Panel have the Masters and the Actual Pages visible and drag the Master onto the Actual Page, left or right and wait to see the Blue Outline show only on that one page. Still Two: Or you can click on the single Actual Page you want to apply the Master page to and have it highlighted with the Blue Outline and right click and choose Apply Master.
  15. DAM is an acronym for Digital Asset Manager. I would love to have a DAM that could look after (manage) my digital assets which are Photos, Text Files, Fonts, Audio Files, Video Files, Applications etc. Keep track of what projects used which files and where they are on my hard drive. Oh, wait. I should make a Database. That would also allow me to keep track of sales too. People here on the forum seem to be wanting is something that will keep track of edits done to each photo file and then reapply those edits at some future date. Most folks focus on raw files and the edits done when converting/developing them. The big problem with the various DAMs listed is that each will develop the raw files and store that information in a proprietary file format. Even if the file format was something that can be read by humans there is no guarantee that a different DAM will be able to apply the same edits. I seem to recall something from years back that used a masking system which was a vector and pixel hybrid which was not translatable for any other application. In short if you find and use a DAM you are stuck with that DAM and it had better be giving you files which other applications can read. I don't know of any such software.
  16. Here on my Mac OS 12.6.8 they are stored in each application's (Version 2 only, won't work with Version 1) folder in Application Support /Users/YOUR NAME GOES HERE/Library/Application Support/Affinity Photo 2 Beta/AffinityFonts So if you have all three plus the betas you'll need to install them 6 times.
  17. I don't know what you mean by But play about with this Photo File. I used a Rectangle to hold the Gradient because a Vector object will allow me to go back and edit the gradient time and again. The Rectangle is masking the top Pixel layer. Change the Opacity of the stops using the Colour panel's Opacity slider. transpaency.afphoto
  18. This is what I see if I export your file as a PDF using the For Print preset and place the PDF on a coloured background. just think "Transparent vinyl" for the orange colour.
