  1. This might be my best colouring of an eejit yet! Love Frankentoon's brushes, they add so much to a pic. Anyhoo, here's the latest eejit. The meanest, baddest gastropod in the Glen:- eejitus sloog! Hope you love him as much as I do! George
  2. Thanks Stuart_R & Alfred. Yeah, it's difficult choosing a favourite. Mines changes all the time (depending on my mood). I suppose that's the great thing of having a large catalogue o' creatures, there's so many to choose from! Thanks again guys! George
  3. Thanks Mike, that's very nice of you to say! Much appreciated. George
  4. Fed up with being picked up by bored bairns, poor wee eejitus fidgetus nospinneris has had enough of being twiddled, fiddled and squiddled all day long! Hee hee! George
  5. Wowsers! That was cool, loved Photo on the iPad. Even better for you Photo folks is that it's now available! I was hoping for Designer, but each well, never mind.... George
  6. Looks ace. Not sure I understand what you're doing with Expand Stroke. Not something I've used myself. I was thinking of doing a range of merchandise based on one design. How is redbubble? Are you happy with the quality? Thanks for sharing more of yer lovely artwork, George
  7. Glad you're enjoying Affinity. Looks like a solid design, really cool looking logo. I hope your son loved it, looking forward to seeing the final product. Just wondering why you presented it hiding in the shadows (so to speak). Would love to see the design presented clearly where the colours are sure to pop. George
  8. Love this style of work and I think you've pulled it off magnificently. Agree with the birds eyes comment, though, I think they should be the same (unless there's a reason for it). Great stuff, George
  9. Are you guys gonna be launching any surprises during WWDC?!?!? :D ;) George
  10. Have you spotted eejitus ohcrapyouvespottedmeium? He doesn't like to be seen and if noticed, will freeze on the stop to avoid detection, being poked with sharp sticks or possibly eaten! Needless to say there are very few eejitus ohcrapypuvespottedmeium left in the wild. Hee hee! :D :D George
  11. That's very weird. I dunno why Twitter would think I'm German. Stoopid twitter..... George
  12. Since it's been a while I thought I'd introduce to the latest eejit - the nosey reporter eejitus fakenewsium. If he can't think o' a story then he'll make something up. Surely there's no harm in that?!? ;) George
  13. Cheers! I have done one piece of mascot work before, doing a Penguin character for a local museum, but I only got that job because I was local and they saw my eejits work (I assume). I'd love to get into more further afield client work and have a go at making it work (and pay) full time. Thanks for the tips and letting me hijack yer thread. George
  14. Thanks for getting back to us. You've got a great solid looking style, I can see why clients would choose you for their brand's identity. Keep up the crackin' work! Cheers, George P.S. Any secrets on where's the best place to find clients looking for mascot work/character design? Don't mean to derail your thread with my continual questioning.....
  15. Thanks silverdust!! Which ones though?!??!? :P George
  16. Cheers jer! Glad you liked them! Thanks for popping over and commenting, it is very much appreciated. You can thank Peter for putting my singed wee guy on top of the burner. He's always adding great ideas into the mix! George
  17. Cheers jer! Look for my post labelled 'eejits' (on page 3 or 4 in this forum just now) and you can see my cartoon creature creations - all created in Designer. I would love to be able to develop my skills towards client work where I created mascots for companies. I'm just not there yet, I feel. Still practicing. Still practicing. George
  18. Sweet (or nutty)! Nice work. Great looking character, looks solid and readable at a small size (at least on my computer screen). This is the type of work I'd love to do one day, creating mascots and logos for cleints. How did you get started in this field if you don't mind me asking? Cheers, George
  19. Well done, mate. Hoping it all goes fantastically well for you! George
  20. Eye poppingly fantastic. If this is what procrastination looks like, I'm having some of that. You sir are a master at Affinity Designer and I doff my hat to you. George
  21. Noice! I likes it, I likes it a lot! Great wee pic, encourages the viewer to want more methinks. Loving how you've set it out and, like the others have said, the title is awesome looking too. George
  22. Nearly. This one has been named eejitus umbilicumumium :D George
  23. Ok I did it.... Probably the most horrible/greatest* thing you'll see this Mother's Day. At least in eejit form! George *delete as appropriate
  24. Haha! Well played sir, well played!! You should have seen the horrific idea I actually sketched up for Mothers Day! Check it out on Instagram if you're there. Eesh!
  25. Wowsers! These are bloody brilliant! Love the feel of each of these but the 1st one has to be my favourite, Great work! George
