  1. Nice! I like how you incorporated eyelashes into the design and the offset lower teeth. Neat wee touches that add to the character design. Me likes it!! George
  2. Thanks both!! Comments like these spur me on to finish this. At least, get the first draft outta the way. Then it’s onto the fun stuff o’ polishing and editing. Once I get one book, who knows where it’ll end up. But I’m getting ahead o’ myself. Onwards to the writing..... Thanks guys, you’re the best. George
  3. @jmwellborn Unfortunately, my children are too old. My boy is nearly 19, my daughter is 15. Although I have read it out to them both, my daughter (obviously due to her being younger) reacted to it well. I think.....! Thanks for your confidence in me! One day I'll get it cracked! George
  4. I wouldn't mind (one day) having someone look over my words. As some people here know, I have been trying to write a kids book for many, many, many years (seriously it has been ages). I started off with a whole world of creatures and an overly complex story with too many characters that I didn't know how to finish (I'm not a writer!) . Now I only have three main characters (2 good friends and 1 baddie type) and more simple story but I'm still wondering about the ending and getting it under 500 words for the young 'uns. That'll come once I finish the first draft and then edit. Honestly, it has been a load of fun and writing it has put a big ol' smile on my face. It's like the feeling I got when I first started putting eejits up on the web. It's great. Of course, I'll have to get myself a copy o' Publisher to lay out this whole thing! So maybe once I have grandkids I'll have a book for them to read!! George
  5. This has been a great read. It’s great to see the beginnings of it all and the progression. You’ll definitely growing a big oak tree from this wee acorn o’ an idea. Have always loved My Strawberry Monkey (even though my pre-school kids are now all nearly grown up). Seeing all the reviews and feedback you get from your work is brilliant too. .....and I hate to say I told you so but, George
  6. Heehee heeheee! This is brilliant. Spoonfooliums do love making treats! I’ll need you to look over the kids book I’m writing (again and again and again and again, one day I’ll get there I promised). George
  7. Glad ya think so Mike. Thanks for the continued support! George
  8. Hello again! How are you all? Hope you’re keeping outta mischief and bring creative! Heres the appalled wee eejitus spoonfoolium. He’s appalled at the way his kind is used and abused, often kept in kitchens and hung from their heads. George
  9. Ahhh, we have another new eejit coming into the fold - eejitus frith-eldar emerging from the depths of the forest to see what all the rackets about. Not impressed with what it sees, it returns back to its slumber! It had to get up for a pee anyway....... George
  10. Mesmerising. Love how you did the eyes. A lot o' neat tricks and tips to take away from this! Thanks for sharing..... George
  11. Hey folks, Ever since updating to v1.7, palm rejection is buggy as hell. I work using the Pencil and sporadically I am doing 'undo', creating nodes and moving the canvas while resting my hand on the screen. Wasn't like this before?!? Any ideas on how to fix this? George
  12. And.... we have a new addition. Meet the eejitus uuuuuumiuuuum - A transcendental being, eejitus uuuuuumiuuuum is a wise ol' eejit who exists on a higher plane. Usually about 2ft off the floor, which is handy at times when other wee eejits need to reach something on the top shelf.....
  13. Oh my..... my most humble apologies for assuming! But I still doff my cap to you madam. Thanks again for interjecting and adding a wee bit to the eejits mythos (if there is such a thing!) Cheers, George
  14. Niiiice! Loving the striking colours, textures and effects you used to put this cute wee monster together. Great stuff! George
  15. Wait, wait..... what do you mean there's another one?!? Yup, patience can be rewarded and this eejit is a perfectly patient plonker who ponders and puzzles the whole day long. Meet eejitus ponderingitus George
  16. Awww. thank you! That means a lot to me. George
  17. Thank you sir. If I was wearing a cap, I would surely doff it in your direction! I have said this before, but you have a way with words that I am very envious of! Thank you. George
  18. Hello.... In my ongoing to attempt to fill the internet with cute wee eejits, I bring to you another creation from the 'Brain o' George' (that's me!) Bobbing about in the North Sea are the eejitus peedyweeplankti; tiny, happy, wee creatures who love the cold expanse o’ the open ocean.
  19. You have curly toes like that?!? Haha! Thanks for having a look! George
  20. Ok guys and gals... here is the next one. eejitus ammaunicornius is just delighted to have grown such a majestic, and oh so sparkly, horn that it is proud to show it off to everyone! George P.S. 21. Hahahaha! Brilliant! Love how you got round the name and incorporated it..... You have a way with words my friend. George
  22. Thank you jmwellborn. Much appreciated.....
  23. I thought it was the other way round. No matter that's what my posters say and that's what it is. If it's wrong, Steve Jobs got it wrong!
  24. Oooops, I'll go back and edit them! Silly wee eejit that I am! George
  25. All of these have been started on Affinity Designer on the iPad and usually finished off on the desktop version! Last one, is the latest one eejitus puggius needeeium
