I want to cut away all lines outside of the boundary [selected item]. Can't seem to achieve this with the normal operations. When fiddling around until something does happen, it wants to 'close' all the lines/shapes on the map, causing lots of extra lines where there shouldn't be. Tried making the map a group too but didn't seem to help. Cheers

Aha. Thankyou. I'll give that a go. I didn't know about the convert to textframe function

Had a play with the text wrap but text seems to wrap about other text boxes, rather than the desired objects. I just want to have separate pieces of text within the inner circle and the rings, constricted to the respective shapes. Any ideas?
