Any software is not a fully developed software. This is the reason why every software has updates !
I will be happy to pay for AD 2.0 with essential features : vector patterns, blending shapes, converting pixel image in vectors, grids with vanishing point, deformation (with box, lattice, etc), duplicating and editing objects along curves.
Just one of these features will make me happy !

Given the number of features that have made it into the v1 releases since I bought them, my guess is that the v2 releases are probably going to have a not insignificant number of new features to really qualify as v2 releases.  If my guess is correct and if Affinity is sticking with the same licensing process for v2 as v1, I plan on buying the whole v2 suite on or around its release.

God listen to yourself!!! DONT BUY IT!!! Go back to Adobe but stop threatening Serif with your nonsense. As far as I am concerned Serif does not need "customers" like you!!! That is no problem for me, for the web i can export as jpg or as you have written, even more optimal than svg. I just noticed that AD exports the PNG disproportionately large. JPG will also be much smaller in AD than PNG.

A publshing software should have a perspective tool for mockups and such.

I've been having a top moan about bleed problems since 2014, and kind of managed to get my head around having no bleed guides and designer only being able to print single pages or a massive a page with all pages, when you to to print whole document, which is no use to anyone and is just a massive bug as far as I'm concerned, but I was hoping publisher being able to handle spreads would mean it would print bleed on those spreads, but shock / horror single pages print bleed (but pics don't bleed) and spreads don't  - damn it as thought I could get a printable mockup over to a printers but no use without bleed - so work around ...... well its an whole day of arsing around just to get bleed which is something I've taken for granted for the past 18 years ------ hope this is a priority bug fix 
Sorry guys I know it just a beta and Im loving most of the experience so far it's just nearly four years for a standard requirement 
Just wondering if theres any plans to add pagination and imposition?

This must be selectable both when working and when exporting.

Is there a way to make the bleed visible? I also would like to have the choice to set the bleed when creating a new document. There are margins but no bleed. Why?

Can bleed be shown when making new document? Instead of having to enable the dimension by going to Document Setup... after it has been created.
Also, can the guides be visible on the pasteboard outside of the trim area?

I absolutely +1 that. 
And please make the bleed values also linkable and linked by default. 
There are very few situations when you would like to have different bleeds on each side. I don’t want to write the same amount 4 times. 

The problem arises when the system language is not English - hence we didn't spot it, sorry... It's currently building and the new version should be up in about an hour or so. I'll post here to let you know when it's ready. Thanks again,
