  1. Thanks
studio martin got a reaction from Dan C in Affinity Publisher 1 crashes when saving
Wow. What a genuinely wonderful community. I was not expecting a response and that is super nice.

So tried again and magically both your attached file and DanC and now the original one also work so really not sure what that could have been. I am on a mac and using latest versions of all software. If it happens again I will post back with more info so someone can debug it.

Sorry to hear you're having trouble @studio martin!
I too have had no trouble opening/editing/saving your document in Affinity V1 on Windows, so I'm not certain why you're experiencing crashing currently.
Does the attached, recreated document also crash when saving for you please?
    PnP Flyer 3_F.afpub
What location is your .afpub file loaded/saving to, when this crash occurs please?
    Many thanks in advance

No issues to save here, too. Since I don't have the fonts "Bitter" and "Mr. Dafoe" you might check these fonts, e.g. by de-/re-activating them, choosing another font temporarily* and trying this fonts in a different app.
(P.S.: The texts appear to be set to English while preflight reports a missing dictionary for "en-DE". If you fix this then APub's spell check may help to correct the various spelling issues (while it won't mark grammar issues ('Kunden dem Aufwand')).
    * Edit: switching a font for an entire document is easier if you work with saved text styles (Text Style panel).

    Which OS do you use?
Saves Ok for me via Apub v1, maybe you try to reset/clear your app user data settings and give it then another try. Or check performance hardware acceleration settings (on Win disable OpenCL computing etc.).
