Wow. What a genuinely wonderful community. I was not expecting a response and that is super nice. So tried again and magically both your attached file and DanC and now the original one also work so really not sure what that could have been. I am on a mac and using latest versions of all software. If it happens again I will post back with more info so someone can debug it.

Hi! Just a quick one but I can't seem to work it out! I have star that I want to split into 24 parts. I have drawn the star with 12 lines over the top of it (see attached) but i can't work out what pathfinder tool to use. Could anyone ahem be a star and shed some light on it? Thanks Martin
