  1. I'm making seamless patterns so my objects are the pattern repeat. I'm making the repeat on an artboard and then converting the artboard into an object so I could tile it. It has lots of groups and is quite complex. Using add to join the repeats does not give a good result (I believe it's a bug). See attached, the top objects show the seam line and the bottom one is the result of the geometric operation Add.
  2. Thanks for the reply :) . I assumed that since the issue is caused by the vector rendering, once it is rasterised it won't appear in the final exported file. What do you mean by "join the objects"? Are you referring to the "Add" operation?
  3. Anti-aliased vector edges between objects get exported to jpeg and png files. This only happens when the objects are not aligned exactly on the pixel. Please see attached jpeg.
  4. Draw persona. Either selection tool or brush. Also, pressing option key to temporarily use the colour picker tool doesn't work very well for grouped objects.
  5. Hello, I don't understand how to pick a colour from an existing object and then apply it to a different object using only shortcuts. My problem is that using cmd+option+click picks the colour but as soon as I click to select an object to colour the colour switches to the selected object's colour... If I use option to pick a colour it only changes the eyedropper colour, Is there a shortcut to apply it to another object? Can someone help? Thanks
  6. Hello, I found this old thread and it is relevant to me since I'm making seamless vector patterns. I'm using embedded object and power duplicate to test my patterns and have noticed these seam lines where the pattern objects connect. My work is intended for both print and web design. I understand that with printing this is not a problem. My question is regarding web usage - if I export my vector patterns to png file format (for example) for it to be used on the web (like say, tile a web page background) will this eliminate the seams since the export rasters the vector image?
