  1. iPad Affinity Photo. I have no idea why but the background color of the brush pallet is very, very dark grey and the font for the brush name is in very, dark grey. Who had this brainwave? Almost unreadable. Fonts are small enough without trying to camouflage them. Some of us have older eyes, please help. I have just bought the universal license, mainly to support at the moment, but the UX needs proper work. Some "procreate" style magic/simplification is needing brought to it.
  2. Hi I have the same question as the OP here. Except I don't want to use separated mode for everything ( don't like everything floaty ), I just want a separate view on a second monitor like arrange -> new window does for PS. Is this possible, I tried dragging like above but doesn't appear to work. Thanks Colin
  3. I have seen reports of it working on Windows. Unfortunately Mac seems to be a different proposition.
  4. I am on a Mac :-) Was a general question as well as specific. Do most plugins operate to a prescribed API or is it much more complex than that ( I assume the latter ). I will drop a line to Corel about creating an Affinity compatible plugin. Would have thought it would be worth their while these days but I believe they are a bit of an odd company.
  5. I know that probably not all photoshop plugins can be supported ( although not sure I know why ) However, it would be nice if they didn't work for them to be handled gracefully. Particleshop crashes Affinity Photo. How much work is going on in terms of making plugins work or liaising with the likes of Corel to get Affinity plugins? Just wondering. It would certainly broaden the user base if more plugins worked well. Thanks
  6. Hi thanks for your reply. No, I hadn't seen the video tutorials overview. That looks very useful and likely what I am looking for. I did see the video tutorials but I didn't notice the beginner ones down at the bottom. I will take a look at tuts+ as I have had some success with their tutorials before. Cheers
  7. Hi, I have only briefly tried to use vector tools such as Designer. Is there a good, structured, learning tutorial for it? I know there are lots of great tutorials here but I'm looking for something to help me build from the basics upwards. Or is there some way of structuring the tutorials here into a logical learning sequence. Thanks Colin
  8. +1 The icons do strain my eyes on a 27" 2560px display. The use of colour in them may contribute to making them a bit less obvious too but mainly the size.
