Just a question,
Why you use two different words for the color format? it's inconsistent.

In the Document Settings, you call it "Color Format."
In the Export command/Export Persona, you call it "Pixel format."

 

Export windows in all Affinity:

Area
Selection Area = 選択エリア
Selection Only = 選択オブジェクトのみ or 選択オブジェクト

Word-for-word translation for "Selection Only" is 選択のみ but this is kind of fuzzy what it is, sounds like the same as "Selection Area."
So 選択オブジェクトのみ(Selected Object(s) only) or 選択オブジェクト(Selected Object(s)) may be better I think...

Corner/Contour tool  in Affinity Designer:
アピアランスをベイク would be better as the translation for the "Bake Appearance" on the context bar.

Just Googled the translation for "Baked Potato"
Results of ベイクドポテト is 1,730,000
Results of ベークドポテト is 122,000

It seems that ベイクド is more common than ベークド, also ベイクド sounds more natural to me.
so "Bake" should be ベイク but ベーク, I think.

This is mainly about Windows version.(some are applied to Mac version too)
Since this is a frequent word and affects creation of tutorials, please fix them ASAP.

Please check thoroughly all Export & Import.

Question about the shape tools.
You call them "geometric shapes" on the Help.

Is this official term for shapes created with Shape tools?
Or you just used "geometric" as an adjective?  you often call a geometric shape just "shape."
Calling both hand drawn shapes and geometric shapes "shape" is confusing.

I want to make it clear to use proper word to explain them.
 

Suggestion for the translation for the Acquire Image command in Photo(only on  Mac)

画像を取り込み
or
画像を読み込み

読み込み sounds like the same as Import, so 取り込み might be better because it's more distinctive word.

Snapping Manager:
Snap to object bounding boxes = オブジェクトのバウンディングボックスにスナップ
Include bounding box mid point = バウンディングボックスの中間点を含める

バウンディングボックス is better than 境界ボックス as the translation for "bounding box" since Adobe uses it

Translation suggestion for tools in Photo/Designer(Pixel persona)

Rectangular Marquee Tool = 長方形選択ツール
Elliptical Marquee Tool = 楕円形選択ツール
Column Marquee Tool = 列選択ツール
Row Marquee Tool = 行選択ツール
選択 is more familiar than マーキー as the translation for the "Marquee(marquee selection)" to us.
Options(Context Tool Bar) of the Freehand Selection Tool:
Magnetic = マグネット
Options(Context Tool Bar) of all select tools:
Subtract = 削除


Flood Select Tool = 自動選択ツール
Flood Erase Tool = 自動消去ツール

Current translation for "Flood" is 塗りつぶし but it sounds strange for the selection/erase tool. (it's fine for Flood Fill Tool though)
Adobe translates "Magic(of Magic Wand/Magic Eraser)" as 自動(means automatic), so 自動 sounds more natural.


Smudge Brush Tool = 指先ブラシツール
Sharpen Brush Tool = シャープブラシツール
Median Brush Tool = 中間値ブラシツール


Filters:
Sharpen = シャープ
Median Blur = 中間値ぼかし
Bilateral Blur = 表面ぼかし
Erase White Pater = 背景の紙を消去
Monochrome Dither = 白黒ディザ
Web Safe Dither =  Webセーフディザ
Detect Edges = 輪郭を検出
Detect Horizontal Edges = 水平の輪郭を検出
Detect Vertical Edges = 垂直の輪郭を検出
Voronoi = 水晶
Perlin Noise = 雲模様
Pinch/Punch = つまむ/押す

Terms for color:
Primary Color = 描画色 / 主カラー / 基本カラー / メインカラー
Secondary Color = 背景色 / 副カラー / 補助カラー / サブカラー

I suggest multiple candidates, Photoshop uses 描画色 & 背景色, ClipStudio uses メインカラー & サブカラー.

Translation for the Print commend should be consistent in all Affinity.
I would suggest プリント.
Currently プリント or 印刷 is being used inconsistently.

Translation suggestion for the Flatten(Document>Flatten)

画像の統合 or 統合 is better than フラット化.
Adobe translate Flatten Image to 画像の統合.

Translation suggestion for the Export dialog
”Export Preview” should be 書き出しプレビュー, not プレビュー書き出し
 

Translation for the Geometry is inconsistent between Mac and Windows.
Suggestion:
Add - 追加
Subtract - 型抜き
Intersect - 交差
Xor - 中マド
Divide - 分割
I referred Adobe's translation. they are using casual words instead of technical terms.
Also I suggest you to change the translation for Merge Curves to カーブをまとめる
Current translation カーブを結合 is also used as the translation for Join Curves of the Node tool so it's confusing.

Translation suggestion for the Node tool

Join Curves = カーブを連結
Current translation カーブを結合 is not so intuitive word and confusing with Merge Curves.
Also Adobe uses 連結

On page 59 you have a group pinned to the text (floating with text) unpinning it resolves the problem.
Also, just moving the pinned position slightly, seems to resolve it as well
 
 
One for the Devs, as to why?

v.1109 – In a short test in both window modes and with new and existing .afpubs none of this grid issues occur.
The jumping macOS traffic light buttons still occur when zooming.

I downloaded the new beta and I can finally open my document again!!! 
 
Hopefully this will soon work in the "normal" Publisher too.
 


 

I can tell you, it's the font itself. I've done some fixes and now the duplicating also works as it should.

Thanks for investigating. Although I think the different results and feedback is puzzling. As written this is just for testing, and we are very soon going to have a cooperation with the prepress team, so I will eventually get to know what might be going on.

Yes the graphic drivers are up to date. I've turned off a couple of the snapping options but need to keep snap to guides/margins to align the images properly I've found that and turned it off. There isn't much text in the document though so it might not make much of a difference. Great, that's what I was looking for. That seems to have helped. I noticed there is also an option to limit the RAM usage, would you recommend reducing that (currently at 16GB)? When I was struggling with the file the other day Publisher was using over 10GB of RAM at some points which seems excessive. It seems to average at around 5GB. Also, is there a way to link multiple publisher files into a book? So for large documents that need to be split into chapters, you can export the pdf as one book?

I hope that someday the Affinity developers will expose that information, and allow it to be changed easily via a pair of panel fields. Or at least allow it to be reset completely.
