  1. We had a crash on undo in the early beta stage but I cant replicate the crash you're seeing. Could you pop the document up ?
  2. Came across this so this :- https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/edge/forum/all/edge-pdf-viewer-does-not-show-or-print-ligatures/9149231a-fa10-42d7-9d41-fcae5e036c57 I suspect we cant fix the edge browser
  3. When you press the edit button for the placed file you are then editing a different document. You'll need to close that document to see the changes in the original publisher file.
  4. I think you will have resized the 2nd text box so the text is being scaled as well. Best to adjust the size of the box using the inner handle not the very tempting one that sticks out
  5. OK if you've got those menu options then the words should be being saved to a file in your %appdata% e.g. "C:\Users\anyone\AppData\Roaming\Affinity\Publisher\1.0\user\dictionary.propcol" Check that you can access this file, (and it's not on some sort of cloud/shared drive)
  6. The only thing I can see is that sometimes the text tool isn't selected so right clicking does not bring up the expected menu.
  7. for a line break (shift return) it works as expected. What I cant replicate is your 3rd example
  8. Issue logged - looks like the resource manager is listing the resources for the active document not the one that might need updating
  9. Photo persona is using a pixel level view, you can compare the difference in Designer (if you have it ) by switching between different view modes. This also might explain why it looks 72 ppi on a 4k monitor.
  10. I cant quite replicate what you are getting as I always get a capital letter at the start of a new paragraph. I would also expect to see a list of words in the auto correct section of preferences. Did you delete all of yours?
  11. is the image that does not delete itself pinned ? - there is a known problem with this. reapplying the master page should cure it
  12. Thanks, I think the document has gotten into a corrupt state. On page 2 in the layers panel you can see an additional pinned graphic in the frame text which will cause a crash whenever you do anything with it. Did you ever copy text from the master page(s) to the actual pages? it should be possible to recreate the document ( and I would recommend that) from scratch. You can import the text styles from the crashing document too in order to save time. If you can remember any unusual editing steps you took before hand that would be useful for us to know.
  13. That looks like it's crashing when saving a pinned object. Would it be possible to get the file ?
  14. @darkclown are you using a googledrive folder for storing your files ? If so could you try using a non syncing folder to see if that improves reliability
  15. not at all - the value should have been shown correctly - thanks for the report
  16. OK I can see that the text style panel does reflect the setting accurately but I am seeing the correct setting in the description of the text style and does appear to apply hyphenation. If you set it to German and apply the style do you get the hyphenation as you would expect ?
  17. I can see a slight difference - could you provide a screenshot or sample file showing what you are seeing.
  18. The policies around moving pages especially in facing page publications is something we need to add. At the moment it's a simple move so it can appear to be out of step with the master layout. As for the crashing when opening where you using pinned images and/or storing the file on a cloud drive such as dropbox or one drive?
  19. could you attach a small sample file that demonstrates the problem please
  20. Excuse the silly question but when you close the tab are you using the Close icon or the OK button?
  21. OK - might still be worth clearing the font cache first https://helpx.adobe.com/uk/x-productkb/global/troubleshoot-fonts-mac-os-x.html
