    I've logged an issue about that - the replacement seems to happy a little bit later than expected

    If you don't apply replace existing when applying the master you will get a copy of the objects placed exactly over the over ones (or new objects added). You can best see this in the layers tab where the contents from the initial master page are now detached from the master.

    I would recommend a complete reset by holding down the control key whilst running the application. Select all options and then clear. This will reset any custom settings you have however the behaviour you describe is somewhat unusual sounding. Have you been customizing keyboard shortcuts via preferences ?

    the control and shift keys modify the increments by 10x (smaller/larger)

    Can you view all the fonts from the context toolbar when just using the text tool ?

    We've seen something like this in early betas - e.g. editing a gradient fill was sending text input off. If it happens again try to remember what you did just before the errant behavior. Hope it behaves though

    This could indicate a problem with some xml files which are stored in your %appdata% folder. enter this path into windows explorer %appdata%\Affinity\Publisher\1.0 if you have any files there copy them to a zip file and upload them to us please. You can try renaming the 1.0 folder and running the application and seeing if that enables it to run successfully.
