Publisher 1.7.1 hangs when pages are deleted
Pauls replied to adrm's topic in V1 Bugs found on Windows
I think it's something to do with the pinned image on page 1. If I unpin it it disappears and I can delete the other pages without it hanging -
Thanks for the report we have this logged

White Objects in Publisher PDF .. see tonality
Pauls replied to DDG's topic in V1 Bugs found on macOS
Those look fine on my system - even installed PDF expert to check -
If it's not working as expected we can take a look - upload a sample font and a publisher demonstrating the problem
-
It can depend on the font. We don't simulate features if the font does not actually have the capability. Which font are you using ?

Possible bug in Publisher with ligatures
Pauls replied to LostInTranslation's topic in V1 Bugs found on Windows
Ligatures are notorious for being difficult to deal with in PDF's as others have suggested there are much better ways of moving objects between the applications. I would open the designer file in publisher and either copy the objects or make assets from them for use in Publisher. -
We don't actually support pass through so there is some import processing when placing a PDF. It is curious that the beta versions were OK though. We'd need some sample files to investigate. The PDF, and fonts used which can be uploaded here What application are you printing from ?
-
you can upload the PDF here

the crash appears to be related to saving history with the document. I've resaved it without and I can now edit those credits at the end M&L Protocol-nohistory.afpub

The outer handle scales the table and we have an issue logged about this - thanks for reporting
-
Just been looking at the file and I think the baseline grid and table are interacting with each other. We have an issue logged to allow tables to ignore the baseline grid. I can see 2 workarounds 1) Turn on the baseline grid for the table and set the spacing to zero pt, this seems to override the document settings 2) Set everything else on the grid then turn it off and set the table how you want And yes this will have changed during the beta due to another fix

I think this is a known issue with live filters.

White stroke / text dissapears in pdf for printing
Pauls replied to Grzyb's topic in V1 Bugs found on Windows
I think this is an overprinting issue as the rectangle has a rich black fill. If you need the black fill create 2 rectangles one only with the fill and one with the only the border. You could also add a border by setting a stroke on the picture frame itself This article explains it a bit You'd probably want the overprint black option set in publisher for any text elements you would want to use -
bumped that issue

I'll have to answer no to those questions. We'd like to address your stability issues in the first patch if possible.
