I've logged an issue about this. I'm not 100% sure that the 3d effect should update in this case though

the only thing I can see is that they dont want any profiles in the PDF and we always have the CMYK profile - although I would then expect that you would always get the warning. I think you may have to reach out to the company for some feedback

at first look it does appear to be cmyk only - which website and or PDF spec are you working to ?

It is odd - I would suspect some sort of imposition problem however feel free to PM me if you get any further info from the printers

I cant see anything obvious from the PDF or afpub file - Given that the online proof looks OK I would query it with Route One Print. I dont recall anyone having a similar problem either.

The 2 PDF's are using different color profiles If you generated the Print output using a PDF writer you would need to provide/check details on the colour settings.

I think it is something to do with Metal acceleration being used in combination with the No Jpg Compression setting on am M1 mac in this case

The embedded font is a sub-set which can cause problems also - not sure if that is an option for whatever program generates the PDF
