seems to be crashing when redrawing the fields panel - if you hide that panel before the merge does that stop the crash ?
-
I'm not seeing the big bounding box any chance of a sample file (saved with history) ? If you havent rotated the object then I think we dont create a 'selection box' that is logged in a report though
-
@NotMyFault - I'll get that pixel layer issue logged
-
-
The setting of the selection box is non destructive so yes you can undo all previous operations

deleting them in libreoffice and resaving gives a better import - not sure why there are soo many
-
was that file generated from a cloud service ?

Is that an option?
From the file menu is the 'Save History with Document' option ticked?
-
I don't think there's a definite better way to be honest unless the file is becoming HUGE then you may look to optimise that way
-
I'd still like the original afphoto as removing that fixed the export for me. Although it could be some other sort of corruption and there's potentially a load of fixes
-
If i remove the afphoto files it exports for me - can we get a copy of the afphoto file used i this document please.
-
one of the crash reports would indicate some kind of problem with the file history -are you saving history in your files?
-
-
Can you manually delete these lock files?
-
using your files and build 2.2.1.2075. I wonder if its linked to locales and the newly added date formatting functions for fields. Where Hangmans fails mine works.
-
can you try deleting the data source then readding it?
-
@Hangman - I've simply loaded the afpub file, removed and readded the data source then previewed the results. Which regional settings are you using ?
I've tried french on WIndows and that worked for me too -
-
what make are model is your big screen?
-
which model of Mac do you have exactly ?
-
@dhelm245 can you recall exactly what file you opened for that process sample?
-
When the file is in the loading state you can try taking some process samples from the activity monitor ( Select the process e.g. Afinity Publisher, then View, Sample Process) these logs can give us some insight into what is going on and it's worth taking a few whilst the file is loading.

I dont think there's anything in particular causing a slow down like other users have here. Running tests here exporting to PDF/X4 we would expect an export time in the order of certainly less than 10 minutes. What Export settings are you using exactly (Screenshot).
Also is the macbook running on any sort of power saving mode ?
Also check you have a lot of free disk space on the startup volume
