Not as convienient but you could try saving the selection to a file then loading it in the other document. See the Menu item 'Select, Save Selection, To File...'

Make sure you apply the noise reduction to the layer with the image on it. Still catches me out sometimes.

In Photo Copy the source layer, Select the destination layer, Select 'Edit, Paste FX'. Covered in the help file under 'Paste Style and Layer Effects'

Providing the images have enough overlap the panorama should be automatically detected just like a horizontal panorama.

Make sure the layer with the image is selected in the layers tab

It's pretty much the same except you have to create and fill the grey layer yourself e.g. Create new pixel layer from the icon in the layers tab Fill it using the flood fill tool or Edit,Fill option - you'll have to specify the mid grey colour value. Set the blend mode for the grey layer Regards

I suspect you may have edited a value in the context toolbar but switched tools without completing that edit. That appears to be causing a pretty reliable crash ( Issue has been logged )

Do you have the aligned option on the toolbar checked?
